Kain (Kai x Ein)

3rd POV

Kai sighed as he watched Ein as he ordered the wolves to find more emeralds. Kai felt enraged but didn't do anything. He loved Ein but he loved Aphmau. Kai didn't know that this was the vacation Ein had planned. If he knew he wouldn't have come but Ein used him. And if Kai didn't listen he would hurt and kill them. Kai didn't want Ein to kill those innocent people so he did as Ein ordered. It started off as he would get him coffee or food. But then it was worse. Ein had just ordered follow him to the cave and distract Aphmau and her friends as today his plan was going to action. Kai protested but all he got was bruises and more scars. He sat there and watched as Kai saw Ein yell at the wolves. Kai stood up and blocked the kick from the wolf. Ein looked at Kai and watched as Kai groaned getting up moving his stray hair away. Kai sat up and watched as the wolves whimpered.

Ein angrily looked and watched Kai as their plan had failed. Kai's ears were down and Ein watched as Kai pouted. His eyebrows were furrowed like Ein's and he giggled as his face went back to calm as he smiled.

"Come on Ein! You can't be mad at me forever!!! You know you should move on. Maybe failing is a sign that you won't get Aphmau. There are plenty of people who love you. Maybe there's even one in front of you that you just don't know." Kai said as he walked in front of Ein.

Ein looked up at him immediately as he slapped Kai across the face.

"Aphmau will love me!" Ein angrily yelled as he gripped Kai's tail.

He earned a moan from him and blushed as Kai purred.

Kai was extremely embarrassed as he ran up the stairs and into his room. He shut the door and slid down as he pouted and tears formed at the corner of his eyes.

"Ein you jerk!" He yelled as if Ein heard him.

Ein, still down the stairs, was staring at his hand that touched Kai's tail. A blush still present on his face as Zane entered the room.

"Brother what would you like for us to do now?" Zane asked as Lucinda entered.

Ein shook his head as he looked at both Zane and Lucinda.

"Actually there's been a change of plans..." Ein said as he crossed his arms.

As Ein walks out with Zane and Lucinda and Kai in his arm he finds Aphmau wondering the forest screaming out...

"AARON!!"

Ein looks at Aphmau as he commands both Zane and Lucinda to capture her. They did as told and he continues to walk with Kai in his arm still asleep. Aphmau's screams wakes Kai up. Kai looks around still a bit confused before he sees Aphmau is Zane and Lucinda's arms.

"Ugh Ein! Let her go. Also..let me go!" Kai whined and squirmed as he tried to get out of Ein's grip.

As soon as he did the freezing weather hit him and he hugged Ein out of instinct to keep himself warm. He wasn't wearing much seeing as Ein probably just got him out of bed with his pajamas. He was only wearing his night gown and shorts.

"Fine. I just wanted to tell Aphmau I was sorry and I only told hem to get her because I knew she would run away if she saw me." He said.

Kai cocked an eyebrow.

"Then why the nether am I here!" Kai screamed instead of making it seem like a question.

Ein didn't answer he just looked away scratching the back of his head. Kai looked at Aphmau before giving her a sweet smile.

"I think we will completely understand if you don't accept our apology. Also Zane and Lucinda too. Although I though it was nice having people around it was weird since you were Ein's slaves. Now Ein reverse the potion." Kai says.

Ein doesn't say anything but he does take out two potions and throws it on the ground near Zane and Lucinda. They both shake their head looking around at the surrounding. Both putting up their defenses as they see Ein.

Kai goes up and apologizes to them. Before returning to Ein. Why you might ask? Easy answer..

Because he loved him. No matter how much Ein's plans to make Aphmau his broke him, his love grew.

Ein watched as Kai skipped back to their cottage. Smiling as he watched. He started to walk off following closely behind Kai.
As they reached the cottage Ein watched as his new crush sat on a couch reading a book. He smiled and sighed. His smile soon turned into a frown as he remembered all those terrible things he used to do to him. Ein walked toward Kai and wrapped an arm around his waist. He buried his head into his stomach as Ein watched him. Worry filled his eyes as Ein never acted like this before.

"What's wrong Ein?" Kai asked.

Ein didn't answer as he just stayed in the warmth of Kai's body heat surround him. He didn't feel the warmth in so long as to since he does live in a snowy mountain. It felt nice.

"I love you Kai." Ein said shocking the orange haired me'fwai.

"W-what? Where did that come from?" Kai stammered at first but then calmed down.

"I alway have loved you...I was just to busy trying to get Aphmau because I though I loved her but I didn't. I'm sorry for all those horrible things I did to you." He said as Kai watched him.

Kai smiled as he ran his fingers through Ein soft hair.

"I love you too Ein." Kai replied as Ein shot his head up smiling.

"It's been a while since I've seen you smile...I'm sure you'll do better next time." Kai commented on his crooked smile.

Ein let out a chuckle. Kai giggled as he wrapped his arms around Ein's neck bringing them closer. He connected their lips not wanting to pull apart. Ein grazed Kai's bottom lip asking for entrance in which Kai granted. Ein darted his tongue into Kai's mouth quickly. He left not spot untouched. They pulled away as a string of saliva connected their lips. Both panting as they smiled. Ein picked the shorter boy up and sat down on the couch again with Kai on his lap. That night they talked about dumb things before they decided to go to bed. After going to bed in separate rooms Ein gets up unable to sleep and goes over to Kai's. He gets in bed with him as Kai turns around.

"What's wrong?" He asks.

"I can't sleep knowing something might happen to you." He said pulling Kai closer.

"Sorry I don't want to bother you either though."

"I don't mind." Kai replied as Ein kissed his forehead.

"I love you."

"I love you too Kai."
