Chapter 11

Shiro POV

Once I awoke, I head straight towards the green Lions hanger. "Pidge!" I yell. I walk closer to her lion, Midori if I remember correctly, but she isn't in her lion.

I race towards her room. My steps quick and my breath heavy. Hopefully I arrive before it's to late. I go to her door. It's open. Thank Alfor. I open the door to see Katie sleeping soundly. I pick her up and start making my way to Allura's room.

"Shiro, why are you carrying Pidge?"

"Her door was unlocked and I want to put her in your room so she doesn't have time to lock herself in. We also have to meet with Prince Lotor and I️ think she'd will want to dress appropriately."
I am saddened by the thought of Katie being with someone else, but there is no stopping her, especially when it came to Matt.

"Take her there. I shall go tell the others where she is and that she's okay."

As Allura heads to the kitchen, I make my way to her room. I lay Katie down on Allura's bed. I sit there for a few moments studying her face. I get up to leave but before I do, I kneel before Katie and softly kiss her forehead. I leave the room knowing that I may not be the one she wants, that it may have been my last chance to ever kiss her, and after my confession that my have been my last chance to be close to her.

I lock the door and walk to the training ground. Maybe Keith is right, I just need to blow off some steam and train.

~~five hours later~~

"I thought I'd find you here." Keith said by the door with a plate of goo.
"Hey, were you guys looking for me?"

"Just me. The others figured you just needed some alone time. We both know training doesn't solve everything," Keith threw a towel to me as he sat down.

"I don't know what there is to talk about," I sit down next to him, "I've had feelings for Pidge from the day I saw her. You haven't seen her with long hair. Then again she looks great in anything...it's just...I know there's no way she's going to refuse Lotor's offer. I mean, she gets what she wants, her brother. She's spent years looking for him, she's not going to give up being this close...It's probably for the best."

"Shiro things might have been worse if you kept your feelings a secret. You never know, she could feel the same way about you."

"Not in this life time, and even if she did, I should have told her before this whole Lotor problem."

"Well," Keith began to get up "this is your life, give her more reasons to stay here. Figure out how to get her brother back without marriage. Although, you should start getting ready. We're going to leave in a few hours...wait if seconds are ticks then what are hours?"

"I don't know ask Allura or Coran. I'm going to take a shower. I'll see you later before this peace treaty."

"Okay, I'll see you later."

I head to my room and enter the shower. I don't know what to do, but I spent my time thinking of a solution. Few came, and the one's that did were not every good. I would need to speak with Katie if any of them were to work. That wouldn't happen anytime soon. I dressed in a all black suit not just to show my position, but to show how this would be the death of my love for the green paladin.
