Chapter 23

Lotor POV

Once my angel had calmed down from her weeping, she fell asleep in my arms. I released her from the walls of the cell and carried her. I entered a bedroom and placed her under the covers. Before I do that, I chain her feet to the bed. How I would love to rest next to my angel but alas, I shall not. I sit at the edge of the bed and watch her peacefully sleep.

"Goodnight my angel, you're finally mine," I say as I kiss her forehead "and no one will take you from me"

I leave her room and and lock it. "Ezor, Axca, guard this door with your life. No one is allowed in or out, except for me."

"Don't worry Lotor, no one will get past us!" Ezor said.

"Of course." I walked towards my room. Which is a few doors down.

I change into my sleep wear and get into bed. Tomorrow I will exterminate those paladins. An especially painful demise for Shiro. Then I shall sleep peacefully with Katie beside me knowing that they can no longer hurt our love. The love between my bride and I.

~~the next day~~

I dress in my uniform, for the fight today. Once I am finished I head towards Katie's room.

"Good morning prince Lotor." Axca greets from the floor with Ezor sleeping on her lap.

"Good morning Axca, you two should head towards your bedroom. We have a big day ahead of us." Axca picked Ezor up and walked towards their room. I walk into my angels room to find her still fast asleep. I walk over and sit on the edge of the bed.

"Good morning angel." I say kissing her forehead.

"What..." she said still drowsy from just waking up. When she tried to curl up into a ball did she notice the chains wrapped around her ankles. "Where am I?"

"In your bedroom. Once you were asleep, I decided to keep you here instead. I can not stand the thought of my bride is that filthy cell."

"W-what about Shiro? When they come for me."

"Do not fret, they will not take you away from me. If Shiro comes anywhere near you, I shall have his head."

"Don't..." she says her voice wavering.

"What do you mean?"

"Don't hurt them."

"Why do you wish to protect them? They sold you?"

"Your right Prince Lotor-"

"Just Lotor my angel, there is no need for formalities."

"Your right Pri- Lotor. Why don't you show me around?"

"Let us go now then." I say getting up.

"Well, I would like to change first please." she gestures towards her ankles.

"I will bring you a change of clothes." I leave her there, and grab her some clothes. She is very kind, I knew I chose the perfect bride. Soon we shall be wed and nothing shall stop the Galra empire. We will be stronger then ever as long as I have my angel besides me.
