Chapter 12

Pidge POV

I wake up and look around. I'm not in my room, where am I? Then recognition hit me, I'm in Allura's room. I try to stand but I fall back down on her bed. It is quite comfy. I crawl back under the covers. I fall back asleep forgetting what today will bring.

~~three hours later~~

"Pidge," a soft voice said followed by,
"No princess like this. WAKE UP NUMBER FIVE!!" I jerk awake when Coran yelled into my ear.
"Ah, yes that worked much better!" Coran had a smug expression after Allura complemented him.
"Why are you waking me up so early." I groaned.
"Pidge it's nearly time for the treaty. You must get ready. Don't worry I already picked out a dress for you to wear" Allura said shoeing Coran out of the room.
"Alright" I move towards the shower.
"Call me once your done dressing" with that Allura left. Once again, I️m left alone. I head into the shower.

~small time skip~

Once I exit the shower, I see the dress Allura had chosen for me. It's like Allura wants to decide for me. Is she so wrong though? I️ haven't worn a dress in years and I️ don't know the latest space totality trends.

The dress had a green skirt with bows lining the bottom. The dress is sleeveless, but there was a small jacket beside it that connected at my throat. It was white with green at the bottom of the sleeves. There were also a pair of black stockings with white knee high boots.

Once I finish dressing, I poke my head outside.
"I'm finished" I tell Allura who's standing outside. She enters the room and sits me down.
"May I do you hair?"
"Sure."
Allura starts to brush my hair out. She added a small bow, much like the ones on my dress. It feels like Allura is ready to give me away, wrapping me up nicely with ribbon.
"All done!"
"Thank you."
"No problem Pidge. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to dress as well"
I left the room and headed to Midori. Before I could make it there Lance and Hunk stopped me.

"Woah, Pidge where do you think your going?" Lance said.
"Yeah, we don't want you to lock yourself in again." Hunk agreed
"I'm just going to my lion"
"No" they said in unison. They picked me up and dragged me towards Lance's room.
"Guys put me down. I'm not going to do anything." I didn't get a response.

Once we reached his room they put me down on the bed.
"Pidge you need to think about your decision, all the way. Like how happy you'll be in the future?" Hunk said.
"Pidge, don't choose Lotor just because he has your brother" Lance said.
"Guys don't worry, I've thought long and hard about this" I then hug them both and quickly slipped out of the room towards Midori.

Luck doesn't seem to be on my side today, as Coran stops me.
"Number Five, you need to be at the deck we are going to depart soon."
"I'll head there now." I then made my way to the deck.

Once I'm there I see Shiro, Keith, Lance and Hunk talking. Shiro was the first to notice my presence. I can feel him staring at me, but I dare not make eye contact with him.
"Pidge" I hear him say "you look beautiful" but I continue to look at the floor
"T-thank you"
"Are you ready paladins?" Allura said, obviously not reading the tension in the room.
"We have to go whether we're ready or not" Shiro said. With that I boarded Midori with with Lance and Allura. Shiro and Keith in Hunks lion. This treaty will not only be the end of Voltron but also my love for...
