Chapter 24

Shiro POV

After a sleepless night, I hear my alarm. I lay there for a few ticks before getting dressed. Today is the day I get Pidge back. I walk outside my room to see Allura still sleeping there. I gently pick her up and lock her in her room until I can find some rope.

When I walk out of the room I spot Coran. "Hey Coran, do we have rope?"

"Why yes, I believe so Shiro!"

"Could I borrow some?"

"Of course I'll go get some." Coran then walked away to get the rope.

I walk towards the kitchen to talk with everyone. "Morning everyone." they respond with smiles. "Today we're going to get Pidge back. Coran is getting some rope so we can tie Allura up so she doesn't do anything. Matt you'll stay behind and watch over everything."

"Alright, bring Katie back safe." Matt said

"Here you go Shiro." Coran said opening up the door handing me the rope.

"Thank you Coran." I turn towards Matt "Come on Matt, I'll lead you there."

"How are you holding up?" Matt asked

"Fine, why?"

"You look like a trash panda."

"What?"

"A raccoon."

"I'm just worried. I don't trust Prince Lotor"

"Katie's strong, she can handle herself. You on the other hand can't fight like this"

"I'm in fine condition to fight. I'll be better once I know she's safe."

"Alright then."

We arrive at Allura's door. When we open the door she's sitting on the bed, acting as though nothing has been done.

"Hello Shiro...and who are you?" She says with a perky voice.

"I'm Matt! We'll be spending the day together while the others are out." I grit my teeth as Matt explains through a fake smile.

"For safety measures were going to lock you in here." I say

"Alright if you must."
