Chpater 29

Lotor POV

"We will talk about this at a later time my angel. Come here and speak to your brother."

"Okay." she says facing me before turning back towards Shiro "I'll see you later, yeah?"

"Yeah, be safe." Shiro said.

"You better be safe."

"Hey your starting to sound like me."

They both laugh, still clinging to each other. Neither of them wanting to let go. They are truly in love, one that can be broken so easily. I know now what I must do, but first let us play a few games. I step aside to allow my angel through.

"Narti please recall the Castle of Lions." after a moment he answers the phone.

"What do you-Katie, are you okay? How are you feeling?"

"I'm fine Matt. How are you?"

"I'm fine, I'll be a lot better when I finally get to see my sister in person again."

"I miss you so much."

"Stop talking like we're never going to see each other again. I'll see you soon. Take care of everyone, and Lotor you lay a hand on my sister I will not hesitate to hurt you."

"Understood." I reply and then turn to face my angel "Say your goodbyes we have much to do."

"Alright" she turned towards the monitor "Bye Matt see you soon!"

"Definitely." and with that said the screen went black.

"Come my angel you must rest." I hold my arm out for her. She walks over and loops her arm through mine. We walk out of the communication hub and proceed towards her room. After walking in silence for a while, I speak up.

"What is wrong darling, you are awfully quiet?"

"I'm fine Lotor, I'm just...thinking."

"What are you thinking about?"

"Nothing."

"Well it must be something if it's taking all of your attention."

"Really Lotor, it's not important."

"I am not to sure about that."

"Can we just drop it? It's not worth talking about."

"Alright then, we shall end the discussion."

"Thank you."

We continue our walk in silence, the only noise heard was footsteps ringing throughout the building. Though the silence between us was eerie, I remained quiet and so did my angel. I start to contemplate whether to strike a conversation up again. I decide to do so with my angel.

"What do you think of my castle?"

"It's...how do I phrase it. It's dark but a good kind of dark."

"Alright then. Good to know, do you have suggestions for improvement?"

"No."

"What is wrong? You no longer humor speaking with me."

"I told you Lotor it's nothing. I just don't want to talk right now."

We come to a stop in front of her door. I open the door and let her inside. I stay outside the door for a moment before speaking.

"Alright then. If you wish to not speak, you may stay in your room and not be bothered."

I close the door and press a chair up against it. I know it's cruel, but she said she wanted to be alone. "I will come back later to serve you dinner."

I walk towards my office, when I arrive I dismiss the guards in front and enter. I sit down and begin to check up on my work. Everything has remained the same except for the fact that I have to order new guards since the paladins had come and decimated them. I sent them to the mechanics but they aren't salvageable in the slightest.
