Rosalie sat next to Barney on her couch, they were sharing a bowl of popcorn and watching a movie. Though their date went well a couple weeks prior they had agreed that neither of them were ready for anything serious. Rosalie didn't know that while she was sitting there Barney was thinking about how he hadn't slept with anyone else but Rosalie since game night happened and he found Shannon. He chalked it up to that Rosalie was just that good in bed that he didn't feel the need to sleep with anyone else, he didn't even given a second thought to maybe he really did like Rosalie more than he claimed. They were supposed to meet their friends at the bar in just under forty-five minutes, but they didn't look to be leaving the apartment anytime soon.
"Shit, we're late." Rosalie said when she looked over at the clock on her oven. They both stood quickly and hailed a cab to the bar. To their luck they were the first ones there and they sat next to each other in the both, they sat close after Barney had returned with their drinks, but pulled apart when they saw Robin come over to their booth. If she saw anything she didn't say anything. They waited for Lily and Marshall to come into the bar followed by Ted.
"We got it. We got Van Smoot House." Lily said with a smile, Rosalie congratulated both her friends and smiled brightly.
"It is on. It is on!" Marshall said happily, "like the former Soviet Republic of Azerbaijan."
"What?" Rosalie asked.
"You're a wonder." Barney said.
"Wow! You guys are getting married in two months."
"How are you going to get everything done?" Robin asked.
"Lucky my Maid of Honor is anal about schedules." Lily said looking over at Rosalie.
"I'm on it." she pulled out her planner from her purse and wrote down the date. She then went through grabbed out a small notebook that had everything Lily wanted at her wedding written down, "division of labor. Everyone is going to have to help. All hands on deck, people." Rosalie said, "Robin and Ted you have the florist." they shared a look and clearly Rosalie was missing something.
"Robin go to the florist alone. Give another task to Ted, Rosa."
"The invitations. You have a great eye for design."
"Wow, whatever happened between Ted and Robin is really awkward." Barney said, which made the situation more awkward, "and still. It's still really awkward right now. Hey, what about me, Rosie? What's my job? What do I get to do?"
"Okay, its simple." Lily said, "at the wedding, do not sleep with anyone." she told him, "anyone." she looked over at Rosalie and the blonde returned her look with a glare and a kick to her shin.
"Lily, you know I can't promise that. What if someone is there in a gorgeous dress? You have some pretty gorgeous looking bridesmaids."
"Rosalie is the only bridesmaid." Ted said.
"Yes, a extremely gorgeous bridesmaid." Barney confirmed, looking at Rosalie, "who I'm dying to sleep with. I'm hoping maybe she'll be desperate enough to sleep with me at that wedding. Seeing her best friend get married while she can't even hold onto a relationship because she puts her work first. But if someone took the time to get to know her, they'd realized even with work as her mistress it'd be worth it." Rosalie smiled.
"Thanks, Barney. But me sleeping with you...never going to happen." it was Lily who then kicked her, "what the hell, Lily!"
A couple weeks had past and Rosalie was beyond stressed from all the wedding planning she and Lily had been doing. She was heading into Lily's apartment when she spotted Barney.
