I stomped out her house and got in my car. I sat there for a minute before turning on my car. What have I done?, I thought.

*

"Up." Madison grinned clutching onto my shirt. I sighed as I set the pencil down.

"Not now, Princess." I sighed. Madison frowned and realsed her grip. "Daddy is busy, after this, I promise we'll spend time."

Madison nodded but I could tell she was sad.  I haven't really been spending much time with her since I need to practice for tour and then I need to come up with some lyrics for our next album. There wasn't much for her to do in the house, she only three a limited toys because I don't want her to think that she's spoiled or the queen. She's not allowed on the laptop unless I'm near her, or around her. And I'm still learning on how to set a pin lock on the television for shows that are... meant for adults.

"I'll just talk to Lucy. I'll be in my room. " Madison murmurs walking away. I watched as she left the recording room and closed the door. Lucy? Who's Lu-

That's when it hit me. She entered the imaginary friends stage. Mum said I had a lot imaginary friends but abandoned them at the age of 9. But this.. Madison is only four... let me do the math... 5 years! 5 years she's probably going have Lucy! Talking about her being 4 years old, she still needs her basic information in her head!

"Madison, babe, come in here!" I call out. Madison came in a few short time later holding Penelope Sanders, the stuffed animal Zayn got her as gift a few days ago.

"I didn't mean to eat the last cookie on counter! It was Lucy's fault! She told me to!" Madison exclaimed gripping onto Penelope. Usually I would scold her and stuff but I felt pity on not spending time with her.

"It's fine, but follow Daddy. I have a surprise." I got off the chair and went out the recording and up stairs which lead to hall, I went down the hall and into the living room. Sitting on the couch was the MacBook pro. I grabbed it, and went back in the hall, down the stairs, and into the recording room with Madison on my tail.

"You sit right here whilst Daddy puts something on."

I tried to remember the website with the mouse. ABC MOUSE? No. 123 Mouse! That one. I typed in the website which immediately lead us into it. I did a few things like typing in the age, age group, grade, and name.

"And you stay on that website, alright?" I say in a stern voice. She nodded and put Penelope Sanders on the floor. "I'm going to be right here." I assured her sitting back on the chair.

She was already lost in laptop. First, they did a run through of the alphabet. A, B , C, what letter is next? Madison shrugged and looked at the options. F. G. D. E

"Daddy, what comes after 'c'?" Madison asks.

"That's for you to answer, I can't help you with some of these. This is for you, I already know my letters." I reply not looking away from the paper with only a few words on them. "Here, I'm going to write the alphabet, then you write them, and you say them as you do so."

She grinned and stood next to me watching as I write out the letters.

I handed the paper with a penciel to her and watched as she placed the pencil in her left hand and started to write. "A... B... C... D... E... is than F?," Madison pointed at the letter, I nodded. " G-G... H... I...," Madison struggled on writting them since I wrote in cursive. It's a habit.

"Can I write in scribbles, too?"

"No babe, you have to write like the way you're writing now. Okay? Don't write like me." I assured her.

"Lucy says I shouldn't eat that. Greens aren't good she says." Madison pushes away the plate with vegetables on it.

"Well does Lucy know it makes you healthy?"

"Penelope says let's take out the jelly beans." Madison smiles.

"Well in order for the jelly beans to come out, you are going to have to eat at least ghost half of the vegetables."

"Lucy says I should I eat all the jelly beans. But not the nasty vegetables."

"Lucy and Penelope are unhealthy."

"No they are not! Lucy and Penelope just like junk."

"If you don't eat your vegetables, you won't go to your ballet classes tomorrow."

"Okay, okay. I'm eating vegetables!" Madison quickly picked up the broccoli with her fork and brought it to her mouth. She scrunched up her nose and shook her head. Finally, she popped the broccoli in her mouth and slowly chewed. "Yucky!" Madison cried.

"You'll thank me later." I sighed picking up my plate and placing it in the sink. I started up the water and washed the dishes.

-

I turned around and saw Madison holding up the empty plate with a big smile on her face. "I finish everything." Madison handed me the plate. I nodded in approval.

"See, not that bad. Now go upstairs and put on your pyjamas, I'll be up there in a bit." I kissed her cheek before she walked off.

"Loki, outside!" I called out opening the door. Usually he would come in a millisecond but he wasn't coming at all. "Loki!"

I walked around the house, maybe Madison took him upstairs. I went upstairs and opened the door to Madison's room. She was sitting on the floor holding vegetables and giving them to Loki.

"Madison Alice Payne, what are you doing?" I nearly shouted. She jumped ip causing the vegetables to go flying up in the air and land on the ground. Loki instantly went to go eat them.

"I'm disappointed of you Madison. You lied and you know what happens when you lie!"

Without thinking I said. "No ballet classes, and no more talking to Mommy on the phone for a week."

Her lips trembled and her eyes were glassy. "No Daddy! I'm sorry, I won't do it again! I promise, please Daddy!" Madison cried. Of course I can always take back what I said, after all, I didn't mean it.

Feeling pity, I knelt down and picked her up but she kept squirming and crying. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean that, okay? I would never do that, especially with you and Mommy. Want to sleep in Daddy's bed tonight? Will that make you happy?" I asked wiping her tears with my thumb. She rubbed her eyes, sniffles, and nodded.

"Okay, but first we brush our teeth."
