Just don't tell Daddy when you get to his house tomorrow." I warn her earning a nod. Boy am I going to be in huge trouble when he finds out... at least I have until tomorrow to make up my explanation.

I covered Madison's ears before I took her out of the car and gave her a quick "shh" sign. She nods and grabs my hand as we walk towards the house. "Hey Princess." Liam crouches down to meet with Madison's height and hugs her. "Sorry you couldn't get your ears pierced yesterday, but you'll thank me someday." Liam says, Madison opens her mouth but remembers and shuts her mouth.

"Bye Mommy." Madison waves giving me a quick hug.

Liam' s Point Of View

Something seemed odd when Madison was going to say something but stayed quiet.

"Guess what," I smile, "Grandma and Grandpa came over and bought..." I wait for her to finish the sentence.

"Sandwiches!" Madison giggles. "Cake! They bought cake!" I chuckle lifting her up and placing her on my hip. "Where'd you get 'sandwiches' from, silly?" I ask opening the door and walking in. "'Frozen'. When Hans and Anna were singing!" Madison giggles.

"I also have another surprise for you," she looks at me, " you're going to have a nanny so, she'll be here tomorrow."

"What's a nanny?" Madison questions, as I set her down. "She's going to stay here and take care of you when I can't. She's also going to teach you new languages." I reply. I see something shine and glimmer in the sunlight, I move her hair and immediately my blood boils.

"What are these?" I ask angrily. "Ehh... uh... " Madison looks at her feet. "After I told you not to get your ears pierced, you get them pierced! Who took you to get them pierced?" I snap. Madison utters and keeps looking at her feet. "Look at me when I'm talking to you, young lady!" I say in a sharp voice. She keeps looking at her feet and doesn't say anything, "Madison Alice Payne, look at me when I'm fucking talking to you!" I shout.

She looks at me with glassy eyes and sure as hell confused since I've never shouted at her and cussed at her like this. I don't what to do. Should I soften up, or should I stay angry?

"Go to your room." I mutter, she does as I say and goes upstairs. I immediately dial up Dani' s number.

Before Dani could even speak, I start arguing.

"What. The. Hell. Even though I said no, you go off and do the opposite!" I argue.

"Oh, I'm sorry for trying cover the needs of my daughter. And I'm sorry for trying to be a good parent." Dani hisses.

"She doesn't need those things!" I growl.

"Stop thinking of what she needs and start doing what she needs!" and with that, she hung up.

Madison's Point Of View

I didn't go to my room like what Daddy told me to do, instead I listened to what he was saying downstairs. He was being grouchy.

"What. The. Hell. Even though I said no, you go off and do the opposite!" Daddy argues, he was walking back and forth.

"She doesn't need those things!" he growled, he reminds me of a dog when he did that.

Are Mommy and Daddy fighting over me? Am I the reason why they hardly see each other now?

I hear something break and peek carefully around the wall to see what happened. Daddy broke the glass pitcher on the coffee table. Usually I would pet Loki and let him lick my face because he comforts me, but Loki is outside.

Before Daddy can see me, I went in my room quietly. I moved somethings under my window so I can watch Loki playing outside. He looks like a mouse from where I'm standing. Cute little mouse.

When Daddy finally fell asleep on the couch, I went outside to play with Loki. We both started digging holes since that's what he always does. I picked up a worm and threw it onto Loki, he jumped up making me giggle.

"Daddy is going to be mad, but I'll just dig the holes back. But don't worry Loki, we can do this another day." I assure him petting his head earning a small bark from him. "Maybe the nanny can even help us tomorrow." I smile.

"Madison?" I turn around and see Daddy standing outside. "Uh-Oh." I whisper gripping onto Loki' s collar. "What are you doing? Look at your clothes!" Daddy walks over towards us, "First the earrings, now this." Daddy comments brushing my clothes off. "Look at all these holes! Dear goodness..." Daddy murmurs placing a hand on his forehead.

"I'm sorry Daddy." I mumble not letting go of Loki who was trying to catch attention from Daddy. Daddy looked at me and softened up, instead of yelling or scolding me, he hugs me. "C'mon, let's get you in the tub." Daddy chuckles lifting me up and placing me on his hip. "Come on Loki, you, too." Daddy whistles as we walk.
