"It's going to be fine, mate. These months will fly by and hey- you can facetime her and maybe even buy her a ticket to come fly over." Zayn reassured me taking off his Beat headphones. I was too busy staring at the window and have been since we had taken off.

"I know, but I'll be missing things. Little things and big things, like if she draws a picture, she won't be able to give it to me." I murmured digging in my pockets, taking out the wrinkled paper that had me, Madison, Dani, Sophia, and Loki; all happy.

"Where are we at?" Zayn asked referring to him, Louis, Harry, and Niall. "Nevermind, we all can't fit in the picture."

"Yeah," I mumbled putting it back in my pocket. "She has more in her room."

"Mommy and I got a backpack for me, it has Batman on it. A lot of people kept telling mommy that it was bad that I get Batman instead of princess but mommy said that it's me going to wear Batman, not them." Madison explained. I smiled as she stumbled over a few words and took those little breaths between a word and then continue.

"Really good, remember, you don't let people get in your way of what you like and shouldn't like," I said proudly. That is unless it's her... boyfriend. BUT she has a lot years ahead of her so no need to worry, right?

"Yup. Have you seen Katy yet?" Madison asked. I chuckled.

"Nope," I said popping the 'p', "Not yet."

I felt a tap on my shoulder, it was Paul notifying me it's time to get on stage. I nodded. "Listen, princess, I need to go. I love you so much, okay?"

I heard a small whimper. "Okay, love you, too. Bye, Daddy." Madison murmurs before hanging up, not even letting me say my 'goodbye'.

I huffed out in a frustrated way and buried my face in my hands. "What am I going to do?" I murmured to myself. I'm going to admit; when I first heard about Madison, I absolutely thought she was better off with someone other than us. Now, she's my everything. I would do anything for her, even if it means to bend over backwards.

"To answer your question, you can't do anything." Louis came up from behind me, placing a hand on my shoulder.

"What?"

"Liam, everything that you are doing, is for Madison. I'm not going to say 'right' 'cause I already know what you're going to say. You can't do anything else." Louis explained.  "It's pretty self- explanatory."

"What I'm trying to say, is that you're sticking to this career for the money. Money for Madison. When was the last time you bought something for yourself?" Louis questioned.

"A month ago," I replied.

"Exactly. If you weren't in need of money, you probably would've already quit the band." Louis says folding his hands like a professional.

"No... no I wouldn't." I defended myself. Louis shook his head.

"Mate, you wouldn't be in this band if you had the money and everything you needed, and not see Maddi daily?" Louis raised an eyebrow. I sat there, speechless. "That's what I thought."

Four Weeks Later. ..

One word. Homesick. I haven't spoken to Madison for over a week, and I really hope Dani's boyfriend isn't brainwashing her to think he is also some kind of secondary dad to her. I also haven't had the time to call since when I do call, it's either going to cut into my sleeping, eating, and/ or showering. Concerts haven't been that much help, too. Diana and Through the Dark reminds so much of my little princess. It'll get to the point where I have to pass my solos to the guys just to sob behind stage.

"Don't worry, Liam." Ashton placed a hand on my shoulder, I snapped my head up realizing that they had just entered the room and have heard my cries. "I'm sure Madison is appreciating everything that you're doing for her."

"You don't understand," I murmured. "You don't have a four in a half year old daughter waiting for you to come home and spend time with her."

"I don't, but I have a ten year old brother and a seventeen year old sister. The only time I get to see them is when we're done touring, or we're in Australia." Ashton shrugged sitting next to me. "What I'm trying to say, is that I'm the father figure to them."

"You're right, sorry." I apologized in a low voice, wiping my eyes with my jumper. Ash nodded and patted my back.

"I'd love to keep talking, but you have fans out there that spent their life savings on you." Ashton chuckled. I smiled and stood up.

"Thanks, mate." I said before rushing out the room and hurrying my way towards the stage doors.

"Liam is back! You missed a lot." Niall announced as I went back out on stage, with confidence urging through me.

"You missed Harry's joke; tell him, Harold." Louis chuckled.

"Okay. What cheese is not yours?"

"Nacho cheese." Harry said giggling at his own joke.
