**2 days later**

"She's really worth it..."Dani whispers, this is the fourth time she's brought up Madison.

"I get it."I mutter digging my face in a pillow, Dani sighs.

"Don't you think it's time to start a family?"Danielle asks pecking my cheek, she was trying to get onto my good side.

"For you maybe, you're 25 and I'm 20. 5 year difference."I reply she rolls her eyes and sighs in frustration. Dani mutters something and leaves the living room, great. Perfect.

"This girl named Madison, she was abused by her-"the nurse interrupts me.

"Room A2."She quickly replies and goes back into typing, I nod.

"Hey Maddy..can I call you that?"I ask closing the door behind me, she nods.

"You don't talk much, do you?"I ask taking a seat next to the bed, she stares at me with her big brown eyes.

"I'll take that as yes."I murmur, a nurse comes in.

"Are you a visitor that's related to her?"she asks, I shake my head.

"Oh well, sorry hun. Off to Ivy' s orphanage."Nurse says slowly looking away from his notes.

"C-can I...adopt her?"I ask, she looks at me and gives me a warm smile.

"You're gonna need to go to the orphanage to get the papers."She softly says.

I quickly write my signature and fill out the other information.

"All done Mr..Payne. Thank you for adopting Madison Patterson, have a good day and a Merry Christmas."Ivy smiles and takes the papers.

"I think you'll like it at my house, funny uncles and I have a nice girlfriend, you already met her."I say opening the car door for Madison, I still need to get her a car seat though.

"Dani!!"I call out, she comes rushing downstairs and grins as she sees Madison.

"Is she o-ours?"Dani mouths stepping towards us, I nod.

"Hello Madison..do you, um, like it here so far?"Danielle asks bending down so she's Madison' s height, she nods.

"Do you want something to eat, drink, anything?"She offers, Madison shakes her head.

"Heeeyyy..and who's this?"Louis asks stepping inside the living room, he smiles at Madison.

"This is Madison."Danielle smiles, Louis waves at her but she just stares at him.

"Okay then."Louis says taking a seat on the couch.

"Why don't I go show you your room, no one stays in it but now it's yours!"Danielle says slowly taking her hand and leading her upstairs.

"She seems a bit awkward, and..weird."Louis states changing the channel.

"She just needs to adjust and get used to us."I say going upstairs and going to the room Danielle and Madison are in.

"And we'll place your bed there, maybe your own little playset there..what do you think?"Danielle asks demonstrating what will be in the room.

"And a purple room?"Madison quietly says, Danielle nods.

"Anything you want just tell us and we'll get you it."Danielle says, through her face says she's just trying to brainwash Madison' s memory so she won't think about her dad and probably her mother.
