ANGELICA'S POV
"I can't believe you right now!" I yelled at my husband, my wedding ring already placed in a box on the table.
"Angie, you know that I'm right!"
"Ugh! You are not right!"
"It looks so much better my way!"
"No it doesn't! Are you even thinking about our baby girl?" I rolled my eyes.
"Yes, I'm saying this on her behalf! I'm sure she'd like this blue better than the pink!" He pointed to the blue color sample on the wall.
Oh, did I mention? I'm pregnant.
"She would not! The pink is nice and calming, and it goes with the rest of the house!" I argued.
He scoffed. "Putting the pink in would be pushing the gender norm onto her! I want her to be free of that!"
"Well blue will do the same, putting the boy gender norm onto her!" I frowned at his arrogance.
"I still think blue is better." He argued.
We stared at the colors before erupting into an argument, our words jumbling together. "Look!" I shouted, silencing him. "We can't come to a decision, so let's have someone else make it!"
"Great!" He pulled out his phone and I did the same.
"I'm getting Liza and Pug."
He breathed deeply. "Both!? Fine, I'll get Jamesie and Purr."
We each texted our friends, and they all came shortly after.
"Finally, you're here." I sighed.
"We're trying to figure out what color to paint the baby's room, but we can't come to an agreement." Thomas informed them.
"Okay..." the four stared at the colors.
"I like the blue one." Eliza said first. Thomas smirked smugly, sticking his tongue out at me. I rolled my eyes.
"I like..." Burr glanced at me. He's a bit scared of me. "I like the pink one." He said. I grinned.
"Oh come on!" Thomas said, exasperated. "You just don't want her to murder you!"
"More like: 'burr-der' him." Peggy corrected, stifling a laugh. I snorted.
"Oh my goddd." Thomas groaned, his hand rubbing his face like Marvin did when Jason asked to talk to Whizzer in Falsettos. *sigh* Marvin... played by Christian Borle... with those arms.... sorry. Pregnancy... hormones... ;)
"So Burr and Ange like pink, and Thomas and I like blue?" Eliza asked. Thomas and I nodded.
James and Peggy shared a look. "Well..." they whispered together for a second. They nodded, obviously coming to an agreement. "What if you do purple?" Peggy suggested.
Thomas and I looked at them, interested. "Well, it'll have both of your wants together."
"Blue and pink make purple."
