Three words to describe Mason's party?Wow. Wow. And wow.
We enter his house, which is gorgeous. I can tell he's rich by how huge it is. It's like a big castle. I know it's definitely considered a mansion.
The house itself has a strong exterior. It's all white and it looks spotless. There's an enormous staircase that would be really elegant looking if there wasn't red Solo cups decorating it.
"You ready for the time of your life?" Kait nudges my arm and I smile at her.
"Let's fuck it up!" I squeal to her and we both laugh walking up the stairs.
The walls must be soundproof because as soon as the front door opens, music blares obnoxiously loud.
The bass in the music has my whole body shaking and the lights are colorful and bright, shining through the almost complete darkness. The house lights are dim, only giving enough white light for being able to see about 5 feet ahead of us.
Damn. There's people dancing on the big dance floor, and there's people obviously making out on the couches and floors. The giant tv is showing—oh okay—nothing I'd like to describe in detail.
The crowd his huge. It looks like our entire school is here, freshmen included. Wow, this is scary illegal.
"Come to the bar with me," Kait grabs my arm and we go to the bar. What's up with families and having bars in their houses?
Kait sits on one of the red barstools and I sit right next to her. The bartender happens to be one of the seniors from the school, so I know someone is wise with their spending.
I mean, why hire an actual bartender? "Hey, Kait and Jazzy right?" The guy asks and I immediately recognize him.
"Jordan!" I smile, showing off my dimple and he smiles back, while Kait is gaping at us.
"In the flesh short stuff, glad you came. The guys were hoping you'd show up." He says while checking Kait out.
"Yeah, I'm here. I better get my announcement too," I point a finger at him. "By the way, I know my best friend is hot and all, but she's taken."
"And that stops me from noticing how beautiful she is, how?" Jordan tests me and I roll my eyes, while Kait starts blushing really hard.
"Get us some whiskey would you?" I say rolling my eyes.
"Jasmine, no. You are a lightweight. She'll take a beer, and I will too." Kait says smiling at Jordan.
I'm not a lightweight.
He nods his head and goes off to the refrigerator to get beers for us.
"He's good looking." Kait says watching him walk off.
"So is Brandon, you know, your boyfriend?" I remind her and she has a double take.
"Shit you're right. Brandon is sexy. Oh wait, he's my boyfriend." She says like she didn't even hear what I just said.
Jordan comes back with our beers and we both give him a thank you before he nods at me and winks at Kait, walking off to get someone else drinks.
"What happened in that detention room? How do you know the varsity guys?" Kait asks, still gaping at me.
"I walked in and they flocked," I say winking at her and she smiles, hitting my arm.
