Being cleared as a married couple is hard when we look exactly our age, or maybe a bit older.

Sure, I have the curves of a woman, but my face resembles a newborn. I don't look like a woman, I look like a mature little girl, and it's annoying.

Ever had a grown person hit on you? You know, you're at the beach and a group of older men, maybe college students whistle and cat call at you.

Walking through the mall and that perv of a guy looks at you from head to toe very throughly with that creepy predatory gaze.

I think we've all been there.

But that's men. Women are hard to please. The lady had the audacity to question my age. 'Are you two really married? She looks quite young.'

Are you saying Liam looks like a sugar daddy? He clearly looks like a yummy young man.

With his build, he can pass as a college football player quite easily, now that I think about it.

I can pass as a freshman in high school who uses butt pads and stuffs her bras...ah, that's not the point.

"Want to explain to me why you made me go to the mall with you to buy a tuxedo for homecoming and you never even went?" I narrow my eyes at him and he shrugs.

"I'm making good use of it now." He gestures to his suit that looks delicious on him. He even wore the dark purple shirt I picked out underneath.

Sexy.

We walk into the elevator, and he pushes the fifth floor button. I tell him to come here with my index finger and he smirks at me, closing the distance between us.

I pull the collar of his tux, and I bring him down to press my lips against his.

He's like a drug, I can get high off of his kisses. I don't even need the sex, even though, if it does happen, I'd probably be addicted to it too.

It's a slow, sweet kiss. One of those kisses that are so gentle, you get dizzy. His hand meets my cheek, tilting my head up higher as my mouth parts for his entrance.

I didn't realize the elevator stopped at our level until I heard the shocked gasp of a lady. I push Liam away from me or I tried to, and he gives an annoyed glance to the poor nurse.

"Do you enjoy cockblocking?" He grunts, taking my hand and pulling me out of the elevator. I apologize to the nurse, trying to stifle a giggle.

"You weren't getting any anyway." I whisper and I think he heard it because his grip tightened on my hand.

I can feel the shift in the atmosphere when he halts at a hospital room door, and I see the name Forte neatly written on a whiteboard attached to the door, with the word 'moderate' underneath.

I look around for a nearby chair. I know he doesn't want me to go in there with him, so I'll respect it. I wish he would open up a bit more, but if it was my brother, I don't think I'd let him in either.

When I don't see any, I grab both his hands and that seems to snap him out of the little trance he was in. "Hey," I walk in front of him, my back facing the door.

"I'll be in the waiting room, okay?" I smile lightly at him and he nods his head, a far off look in his eyes. After a long pause, he furrows his eyebrows and he shakes his head.

"What? No." He pulls a look. "Come in with me."

"Are you sure?" I put a comforting hand on his bicep. "I would love to go in, but I know how much she means to you, and if it's not the time then I'm perfectly c—"
