Steven, Veronica and Ethan walked into
the studio a few minutes later with bags of food.

They all ate while I started working on a new song.

Selena's POV

"Listen V, I have mad feelings for Diego. I think I'm ready to tell him. I really want to move on from this bullshit." I said to her while eating the Chinese food they brought.

"I'll support anything you decide on." She smiles genuinely.

"I'm going to tell him tonight."

My stomach had butterflies in it as I turned around and made eye contact with Diego. I can't believe I'm going to do this, but I love him a lot. He deserves
the whole world and more.

I'm just hoping he wouldn't break my heart like my ex boyfriend did.

I remember everything about my past relationship.

At first, he was sweet. He showed me his soft side. But as we got further and further into our relationship, all that changed. He turned into some evil monster who hated him.

His cousin had told me one night when me and him were going through a rough patch, that he had raped her. I found out later on, from him, that the same cousin of his told on him about him raping 2 other cousins of his. I didn't think it was true.

Until it happened to me.

But that's besides the point. I'm ready for another serious relationship with someone. I hate affection after what happened to me, but once I got it from Diego. It actually felt normal for once.

10 in the evening

Veronica, Diego, and I went back to Diego's place.

I gestured to Veronica that I was going to talk try and talk to him. He seemed kind of frustrated, but maybe by talking to him about the situation I could make his frustration go away.

"Diego?" I quietly ask.

"What?" He rudely responds.

"Um.. I was wondering if I could talk to you about something..?"

I was worried at what his response would be after he just snapped at me.

"Sure. Let's go outside so I can smoke a blunt."

We both walked outside and sat on two of the patio chairs that were outside.

"What's on your mind?" He asks as he puts a backwood on the table and a bag of weed.

I was just going to be straight up with him.

"Well, I love you very much. We've been best friends and we have such a close bond and i-" I got cut off by him kissing me on the lips.

I kissed back.

"I wanted to tell you that I'm ready." We both pull a way from the 5 second kiss.

"I'm glad you are." He says with a smile, finishing rolling his blunt and lighting it.

I took a couple hits before we went back inside.

I felt complete. I know you shouldn't be with somebody to make you happy because it just puts extra stress on your plate. All the compliments go to your head, the kisses, sex, everything.

You're suppose to be happy because of the effort you made to get there. But he made me happy.

I woke up the next day in Diego's bed instead of my own. Of course he wasn't in bed with me. Also I still get to tell him fully what I wanted to.

As I walked down the stairs I smelt food. Specifically french toast.

"My favorite" I thought to myself with a smile across my face.

I walked in the kitchen and saw Diego cooking while listening to music.

I ran up behind him and gave him a hug from behind.

"Smells yummy." I say excited.

"Like you." He says, turning around and winking at me.

Not going to lie that turned me on a little bit.

After he was done cooking, him and I sat outside and ate.

"So about last night, I didn't get to finish.." I say with a mouth full of french toast.

I finish chewing and swallow my food.

"I'm ready for a serious relationship with you. Is it going to be hard for me, you? Of course. Will we have each others backs? Absolutely. I just want you to understand that I have boundaries. I respect myself unlike a lot of these other girls. If that's too much for you, than I'm obviously not the one for you." I exclaim.
