Something New

Alec's POV

"where is she?" I yelled. 

"she wasn't in control, she attacked Deaton" Stiles answered. Fuck Amara

"how?" I asked confused

"she shifted Alec."  i looked to jace and with nod of his head we ran out of there with Stiles following behind us. our rune that connected us together lead the way in to the beacon hills preserve once again. what was up with this girl?

we followed the connection until we found her lying on the ground with lighting surround her unconscious body. "what the fuck is that?" Stiles asked with a shocked look that looked similar to me and Jace, we yelled for her to wake up. 

Her eyebrows furrowed and more lighting shot out, she shook her head, she was having a nightmare, this wasn't knew for her, the nightmare part,  when she spent night at the institute when she was younger she would get nightmare where she would be screaming in her sleep, it scared the fuck out of me but I used the one who ran into her room to hold her but since Allison i left that job to Jace.

Jace's POV

she laid there on the ground, believe me it was the scariest part of being her friend, her nightmares but I knew what I had to do to get her back under control. I took a step forward-towards her- a hand landed on my shoulder, Alec. "I got this Alec, it's going to be okay." I told him and walked towards her once more until i was in front of her, I felt her power travel through the ground, boy this was going to be painful. 

Third Person's POV

His screams were the only thing heard in the preserve, He held her in his arms ,getting electrocuted until she calmed. His body smelt of burnt flesh. He held her  while they drove back the animal clinic  and didn't let go until she was set on the table, but even then he didn't let go of her hand while she slept. "You should rest." Magnus asked.

"No" it was a simple answer but there was more meaning behind it it was almost as if he was restating the oath that connected them together over and over again.

"Jace go rest, I've got this. You did the hardest part and now you need to heal. she's going to need you when she wakes up." Alec told him but all Jace heard was the 'she'll need him when she woke', he knew he couldn't be here for her if he wasn't healed. 

Convinced, he slowly stood up "Okay." but he didn't leave the room,he walked towards the couch in the corner of the room.

"okay." Alec replied then he sat on the chair that was pressed up against the bed and once he knew that Jace was asleep, he started to speak.

Amara's POV

"I can't believe i fucking did it again." someone sighed, not again "I keep breaking my promises." Alec, it wasn't your fault. "This is all my fault. You were the only person you understood me." were? "so it would be only fair if i told you." Tell me what?
