"Alec where are you? we are supposed to be training?" Amara spoke into her phone "Call me back." as she lowered her phone from her ear.
"Hey Amara." a voice said from behind her, she turned "where's Alec? Isn't he suppose to train with you?"
"Hey Jace . I don't know where he is and yes Alec and I train together every Tuesday at 6:00 in the morning. I've been waiting for I'm here for three hours."
"Well if Alec isn't here I'll train with you." Jace offered.
Amara thought about it for a minute, "Okay."she spoke hesitantly. For the next three hours Jace and Amara battled each other in friendly competition until Amara got the upper hand and flipped him on to the floor. that's when Alec and Allison came in hand in hand, they stopped seeing the position that Amara and Jace were in.
They both looked to Alec "Uh hey." Alec spoke awkwardly. Amara was straddling his torso because it was the only only way she got Jace on to the ground but when things got awkward when she realized that Jace's hands were on her waist holding her on his body. she was quick to stand and after she did she helped jace up from off the ground.
"Hey Alec." Jace said.
"Where were you?" Amara didn't do well with small talk, she was always getting to the point "You were suppose to be here six hours ago."
"I forgot that it was today and i already made plans with Allison so we could catch up" Alec spoke. Jace knew that with his choice of word it would be best if he left.
"I'll see you later Amara." was all that Jace said before he walked out.
"So you can't call t tell me that, no wait, how did you forget? We've been doing this ever since we were six and Allison knew that." Amara spoke then her voice went softer. "Today was our day."
"I couldn't cancel on Allison." Alec explained.
"But you can cancel on me?" Amara spoke getting more and more angry,"I waited for you for three hours this morning, and when i figured you weren't going to show, Jace offered. Maybe i should've started training with someone that I could trust." with that Amara started to make her way towards the doors of the institute, accidentally bumping into an older women.
"Amara?" the older women asked completely shocked.
"Can I help you?" Amara snapped. she didn't respond so Amara walked towards the door.
