"You were the only person I've ever loved, and yeah there was Allison but with her i was pretending that it was you until it just got easier until i was able to push you out of my mind because I knew you wouldn't feel the same." 'OH MY GOD, what is he talking about?' "Amara, your my best friend and that's okay but i need you to know this." 'why don't you tell me when i'm awake so i could actually talk back to you.' "i hope that some way you can hear me." 'Alec' "i need you to hear me." 'Alec?' "i love you. I've always loved you, you were the one, you are the one and i will always love you." 'fuck I wish I was awake.' "It was never Allison it was always you, through everything, you were my first kiss and even though you possibility can't hear me. Even though I love you, I'm not good for you." 'Alec your the kindest person I know'. want you and you know what happens when I want something." 'you never get what you want but I WANT YOU. " So I have to walk away and I hate that i have too ." 'What no!? Alec. You don't. " I can't be here with you when I know I love you and can't do anything about it, so for now this is goodbye Mare." 'Alec! please don't go, not when i can't chase you.' all i heard was footsteps that were fading with each step 'I love you too.' i knew tears were falling down my face even though i wasn't awake i felt the hot tears roll down my face and neck. I knew it wouldn't help if i woke up right now -if i could- he wouldn't want me to chase him. The crushing pain in my chest was going to kill me and it was hard to breathe 'Alec! please I need you.'
