The stormy night, on a full moon. It was a bad idea for Victoria to go on this mission. An ambush she was surrounded by werewolves that were ready to attack. they made it quick their alpha was the only one to bite as he torn apart her skin she felt her life change within seconds. bloody and alone she gathered enough strength to get up and and walk home. In the same night after she cleaned herself up she took her one year old daughter for a walk underneath the stars as the walked across the bridge tears fell from Victoria's face as she took her first born child to a loft in Brooklyn.
"Magnus, I need your help." Victoria told him as she lifted her daughter which gave her sharp pain in her bite as they rose.
Magnus was never one to help people but when he seen the little girl he couldn't help but do so. Magnus stepped down as soon as he heard what she wanted him to do. "No, I'm not letting you do this."
"I could go to another warlock." she said back "I'll pay you."
"I know your family code, I know what you'd do to her after you I do this." he said "If I do this to her she becomes the one thing you hate the most, she becomes a hybrid , both werewolf and shadow hunter. If i do this you lose her, she'll be a werewolf and you'll kill her based on your code, I won't let you do this to her."
Victoria was quick to reply. "well you don't have a say in the matter."
"If I do this for you, she will be under my custody, she will no longer be your daughter." Magnus replied. "You for her, you save your ass as you sacrifice her."
"Just do it," Victoria snapped "I don't care"
Giving up he laid Victoria on a bed with her daughter Amara next to her. A admiral blue smoke shown in his hand as he magically pulled Victoria's wound off of her body and he traveled it toward her one year old daughter. Waking her up her eyes glowed a bright yellow as her shadow hunter rune sparkled but stayed. Both of them fell into a dreamless sleep on the bed next to one another for the next couple of hours Victoria was the first to wake "Leave." Magnus said as he held Amara in his arms. she didn't speak but she did walk out of the loft healed without any guilt.
Then after another couple of hours Amara woke up asking for one person. "mama."
He slowly walked toward the bed while she reached out her arms for anyone to pick her up. "Okay, okay, love shh shh" he spoke to her with a baby voice as he coddled her.

"Daddy!" Amara spoke while she ran into the living room while a younger boy chased after her from her room.
"Amara!" he spoke enthusiastically then he seen Alec, "Alec! Are you too causing trouble my little daredevils?" as the two five year old's ran to his legs one after the other. They laughed and screamed in a playful matter until they heard the yells of Izzy from the other room.
over the years Amara grew with Alec and Izzy then when they were ten years old Jace showed up making it the four of them. Until it all changed.
