More and more pain traveled through me the more angrier i got, I started to feel my claws come out but i controlled it, a simple mantra kept me sane during this time.

"three things cannot long be hidden? The sun, the moon and the truth."

i learned it when Magnus got one of his best friends to teach her how to control her werewolf side then the incident happened...

FLASHBACK

"okay, Murata's here." my father told me. I nodded and walked towards her car. "I'll see you in a few weeks." then again I nodded.

I spent about five weeks with Murata learning how to control the shift and it wasn't easy. "Okay girl, let's get this done." she looked to me while she drove. We spent those five weeks in the outskirts of New York while I learned how  to shift and how to control it.

"you're strong Amara." Murata spoke, "but with the kind of strength that you have makes it harder for you to control this side of you." she hit me with a stick.

Growling, my eyes turned a cold blue and I bared my fangs."then maybe you should stop hitting me with that stupid stick." I snapped back at her. she hit again, I was on my hand and knees she hit my side.

THE NEXT WEEK

Now Murata was teaching me how to use my werewolf side as a weapon, we fought one another by ourselves but not for long when another pair of glowing eyes walked through the shadows. "well Murata who is this?" his condescending voice spoke in the rain. he took a deep breath "A shadow hunter?" he looked closer noticing the runes. "her people kill our people Murata,"

"She's different."

"she was probably raised by them." there was so much distaste in his voice.

"no." i called out "I was raised by Magnus Bane."

"the warlock?" i simply nodded. "that's new but it doesn't change where you come from."

I sniffed the air, his anger radiated off of him and i knew this wasn't going to end well. "well then i guess we gotta problem then?"

he didn't know what I was and he didn't give me a chance to show him, he threw out his claws toward me, taking me by surprise, he opened a new wound on my cheek right below my eye. I wasted no time pulling out my obsidian ring daggers, hitting him back. Murata knew to stay out of it , but she kept an eye on me as me and the alpha battled to the death. "You're a good fighter but I don't hide under weapons and runes." the alpha spoke trying to get in my head, i didn't give him the satisfaction in doing so. I threw my daggers into the rain and threw my Steele to Murata who caught it easily.

"there, now the big bad alpha can stop crying." I intimidated.we fought in fist to fist combat and when i was on the ground my eyes turned a golden yellow one last time and my fang flared out. he lost concentration, an opening, I took the upper hand , kicking him off of me. It was the first time i lost all control, my first kill. My claws didn't stop they cut deeper and deeper with every throw until he was just a pile of skin and broken bones. It was Murata who stopped me. I kept my eyes shut even when she lifted my face. I felt it. "My eyes they're different," the color showed a new status as a werewolf and instead of an innocent golden yellow they were a feral glowing red. "I couldn't stop." I spoke softly. "he was right my kind kills his kind." I could feel the tears burning my eyes wishing to be freed from the tightly shut eyelids.

"open your eyes, Gakusei." I squeezed them tighter, then slowly opened them showing her this red.

"Let's get you home."

I shook my head. "I can't." I pushed my hair out of my face. "I can't lose control like that again." we didn't leave until I felt under control but as a safety net if I felt I was losing my control Murata gave me a mantra she learned from her mother, Satomi.

"Three things cannot long be hidden. The sun. The moon. And the truth."

END OF FLASHBACK

After reliving my past the pain returned and the tear from the past poured out from my eyes now that I was alone.
