*Yugi's POV*
"Yami, come here," Kaiba said and held a hand out. Yami didn't take a step to him, he just stayed by my side. "Yami do you realise what it means having no royal blood in the castle?"

"And do you realise he needs time away," I said and took a stand. Looking up at Kaiba...he was like a complete giant to me. "Kaiba just give him a few days to have time to get himself back together."

He looked like he was thinking, letting me believe he was going to let him be. One of the guards came from behind him and stood in front of me, what's his problem?

*Yami's POV*
Yugi fell into me as the guard slapped him hard leaving a red mark on his cheek. "Who are you to talk to Seto like that!?! We should arrest you for hiding the Prince!"

"That's enough!!" I yelled and everyone shut up. Helping Yugi to his feet, I gave him a head nod and he took a step back. "I will not allow you to speak to him in that matter. Now stand down!"

The guard whimpered back to his spot behind Seto and my gaze fell to him. "Seto please...give me two days to get my head into shape then I'll return." I said and kept eye contact.

I know the trouble of having no one there is bad, but...I just can't go home. Not yet. "Yami.... *sigh* fine you have two days but if your not back before 10 at night then we WILL be back here." Seto said and turned around. "And Tyke don't do anything to him," and walked off.

"Yugi let me see your face," I said and turned to him. He didn't resit me, he just let me see the bruise. How dare he do that... I should strip him of his duties once I'm back. "I'm sorry...this happened because of me."

"Na don't worry about it. When I was just starting school I got picked on all the time," he said and held the hand I had on his face bringing it down but not letting go. We went back into the gameshop and both flopped down on the couch. "Now how to end this day? Oho a good movie!"

He shot back up and went to his room. After a lot of sounds of him rustling around he came back down and tossed a DVD at me. "I've never seen this movie before. It looks like a horror. Have you seen it yet?" I said and he shook his head. He put the disc in and took a seat next to me curling up.

The film started out slow as nothing happened but it got even wore as the teenagers were wondering around the pitch black house. "Wait if he was putting all his strength in that shelf then why didn't that go down as well?" I asked while glued to the film. The blind man was probably the scariest thing I have ever seen in a horror movie.

"Maybe it was connected to the ground? If not then that's a little weird," Yugi said and fixed himself so he was on my shoulder. The movie was going on and it came to where we thought the girl was going to get out but then we both jumped out of our skin.

"Oh come on! Give the girl a break! She is almost out and this guy is faster then the Flash!" Yugi yelled and threw his hands up in defeat. I just laughed at him and ended up staring at him. The way he stood up for me when Seto was towering over him, the height differences didn't bother him.

The film finished and Yugi was fast asleep on my shoulder, I have no clue to when he passed out." Your a lot of trouble Yugi, ya know that?" I said to myself and stood up. After sorting myself out, I put my arms under him and lifted him up. Luckily he left his door open so when I reached the top of the stairs I didn't need to bother with it. Once I put him down on the bed, I covered him and went to leave. But a little light appeared at the corner of my eye. His puzzle was sitting on his table. We had both left them here when we went out as we didn't want to lose them.

"Yugi...if only I could help you remember what we had, how you opened my eyes when I was little. And that promise we made....I don't know if we can keep it now. Maybe it might be best to forget about the past and work on making what we have good," I mumbled and wondered out the room.

*No one's POV*

As Yami shut the door to Yugi's room, the entire room was black. Movement came from the bed as Yugi sat up. "W-What do you mean? Do I know you from way back when?" Yugi asked out loud and looked at the direction of his most treasured item. His Grandpa did say that an old friend used to have the same one and he noticed ever since he met Yami...he has had his own one on.

He sighed as he lay back down and grabbed his phone and went to the messages. He hovered over someone and debated on it. After a little thought process he clicked on his friends name and started to text...

"Joey I know it's late but you'll read this in the morning. I need help with something..."

and sent...

I finally didn't have any work to do so I have had a day to finally chill and write!!! I can't get used to this as dreaded Prelims are coming up in January and I need to be prepared. If anyone else is still in school and have exams or what-nought coming up  I WISH YOU THE BEST OF LUCK ^u^
