The Title Doesn't Mean Anything (Puzzleshipping)

Chapter 53, A team...

*Yugi's POV*

After Yami set out the order, the guards have been running around like headless chickens. "Yami, you need to let me go train too," I said and went to run out but he grabbed my arm. "Come on the more help you can have the better!!"

"There is no way I am letting this happen. If something happened to you I don't know what I would do." he said and I could hear the sadness in his voice. I shook him off me and ran away but heard him giving chase to me. "Yugi! Please just listen to me!!"

I stopped dead in my tracks and he bumped into me, making him fall to the ground. "No I want you to listen to me. I can't stand it always being protected by you like a helpless child!" I yelled and turned to face him. He was shocked, as was I because I just raised my voice like that. But it's the only way he'll listen to me. 

"Yami please, see it from my point of view," I said and crouched down to his level. "You have been there for me since the very start and I couldn't do anything. So please, for once in my life let me be the one who protects you."

"Yugi..." he said and held his head down. "Fine, but your not taking the role of Seto. Instead I will have you two share the roll." He held his hand to me and I thought he wanted help up so I grabbed it. He had a cheeky smile on him and dragged me down onto his lap and hugged me tight, remembering my arm is still swore.

"You need to understand....what you mean to me Yugi." he said and tighten his grip. Is he...crying? "I-I couldn't take it if you got hurt because of me again. With Atem it was hard enough but if Pegasus does something..."

"Yami look at me," I said and grabbed his face which was wet from crying. "When I finish all of this training then I'll be smarter and stronger. Then you don't have to worry about me so much. So trust me on this and let me finish what I started."

He sniffled a little but then gave me a big smile. "I-If that's what you want. But you need to be careful." he said and I gave him a nod. He was moving closer to me and I knew what he was doing, so I met him half way and our lips met.

"Hey love birds! Not in the palace halls! Save it for the bedroom!" We heard and departed from each other. Kaiba was walking over to us with Joey trailing behind him. "Pardon me but I over-heard. You want me and Tyke to work together as your bodie guards?"

"Yes, it's either that or he'll just force himself into the roll. Which I can't have so you two both head to the training room and work as a team." Yami said and kept a hold on me. I realized the way we were and shot up, redder then a tomato for letting Kaiba and Joey see me like that. 

"Are you kidding me? Am I not good enough now?" Kaiba said and he sounded offended. Yami got up and stared him dead in the eye. No sound was made for a few minutes until Kaiba sighed. "Fine, come on Tyke."

He came up to me and grabbed my swore arm dragging me behind him. "H-Hey I have my own legs you know!" I yelled but he took no notice. I looked back at Yami and Joey, Joey was waving at me and whispered good luck. I need to remind myself to punch him when I get back...

*Yami's POV*

Is this really the right thing to do? I have never been more worried about them two like this. "I think we might not see Yuge after Kaiba's done with him," Joey joked and I let out a nervous laugh.

"To be honest I don't know Joey. But if they're training together then maybe they can help each other. Yugi seems to be at Seto's level so the outcome will be interesting. Wanna go watch?" I asked and he nodded his head. Is it just me...or does he act like a dog when talking about Seto?

Anyway we headed for the training room and this time instead of the make shift city was a huge grassy filed with knee high grass. We went up to the command room and Shadi greeted us. "Out of all the people to team up, I never expected little Yugi and Mr Kaiba. They two and truly a powerful duo." he said and pointed at the window. They were both sparing with wooden sword and were keeping up with each other.

"Who on earth do I route for?" Joey asked but I kept my eyes on them. Seto is good with the weapons, but from what I read with Yugi's results he is really agile so it's a even match. Having a closer look at them, they had some bruises on their arms and were panting hard but seemed not too badly hurt.

Seto went to strike Yugi but he ducked in time, then kick Seto's legs to throw him off his feet. When Seto landed Yugi shot up and had his sword held at Seto's head, has he won? Seto had a smile on his face and grabbed the sword with one hand and got himself up with the other. He was up at Yugi's head and headbutted him, forcing him back.

Seto went to strike him but Yugi reacted fast and kicked him away, making a fair distance between them. They looked like they were about to charge at each other again but Shadi pressed a button and a massive block appeared in the middle of them. "Alright you two! That's enough for now!" Shadi yelled and they both backed down.

They both came up and saw that we were waiting for them. "You both did great! If I knew you two were like this then I would of had you two training together sooner!" Shadi yelled but Seto didn't look too keen. Joey ran out with Seto leaving me, Yugi and Shadi. "You guys can chill here for  bit, I need to clean the room."

Shadi soon left leaving just me and Yugi. I walked over to him and patted his. "You two did a good job out there," I said and winked at him. He just smiled at me and we both went back to my room.

Well someone is a grump! Kaiba just needs to accept this doesn't he!?! So how will Yugi and Kaiba do know that they are a team? What is in store for them in the future?
