*Yami's POV*

"Yugi wait!" I screamed as he started to get further and further away from me. My legs took off on their own and I gave chase to him. He was running through the citY. Past the pub,  a different path from the school and was going up the big hill. He is going where I think he is going? But...why?

I kept up with him even closing the gap between us until we reached the top to our special spot. He just stood looking out into the city and I made my way to his back. "Why did you keep this from me? How much time have we spent with each other and you've been keeping this from me!?!" he screamed and turned to me with tears in his eyes.

"Yugi please you need to know that I did this with the best thoughts in mind. I didn't want to trouble you when we first met that I knew you from long ago. When I heard you forgot about me...my whole world just turned up side down." I said and the only sound in the air was his sniffles.

"But even Joey knew! My best friend knew and you both kept it from me. Do you  know how that makes me feel?" he asked and I could feel the sadness sinking into me. "I just...just need time to accept this."

I took a seat on the ground near him and he looked at me like I was an idiot. "Then if you want time, we shall stay here and look at the city." I said and he just scoffed at me. He also sat on the ground but put a lot of distance between us. I had my watch on me and looking at it, it was only 8pm and the streetlights were flicking on. "You know I heard there is supposed to be a firework show tonight."

"Is that so?" Yugi asked and I heard his shift over a little to me. This happened more and more over time until his knee was almost touching mine. "Look Yami, tell me what were like when we were friends as kids."

"Well the first time I met you was when in the garden. I think you were running from bullies. We spent the day together until you had to leave and we kept that up for a few days. We went away from the palace for a day and I came home to learn my father had made an arranged marriage and had to leave. Before I did you gave me the puzzle and we both promised to have them done when we met again."

"So that's why you had it. I got told mine was the only one and the other was lost," he said and put his head on my shoulder. My watch beeped as the time was 9:30pm, the time when the fire work show was in a hour.  "Alright Yami...I think I have got this now."

"Really Yugi? I mean you don't have too and we can...go our separate ways," I said and looked to the road behind us. I don't want to part ways with him, but if that is what he wants then I'll take my leave.

"What no! I just learned that we have a past and you wanna leave!?!? I'm not losing you again!" he yelled and grabbed my face, forcing me to look at him. He no longer had the sad face I saw him with. His face was still red but not in the crying type, he was blushing.

I just let out a little laugh and grabbed his hand bringing them down to his lap. "Alright Yugi, I'm happy to still be able to be your friend. Well let me re do this," I said and let go off of his hands and extended one out. "My name is Yami Sennen and it's great to see you again."

He let out a little giggle and took my hand. "Hello Yami, I'm Yugi Muto and I'm happy to re meet you," he said and we both burst into laughter. We never let go of each other, in fact we cuddled up with each other to stay warm as we wanted to see the show.

"Not too cold Yugi?" I asked and had a look at him. He was shaking a little making me think that we should go home. I took a arm out of my jacket and wrapped it around him to try and help. "It this any better?"

"Yeah because I can hug you easier now!" he said and latched onto me. I didn't have a problem with it although my face was heating up, I just cuddled into him. The fire works finally started to go and...it was a lot better then I thought. I haven't really seen them apart from the window in my bedroom at the palace.

After 30 minutes the show was over and we made our way back down the hill to the shop and soon enough got to it. Yugi was so cold I forced him up to his room while I made him a hot chocolate with a hot water bottle. "Sorry Yugi Your this cold because of me," I said and put the things next to him.

"Hehe don't worry about it, I'm not too worried about it. I'll see you in the morning?" he asked and I gave him a head nod leaving the room. I forget...tomorrow I need to go back to the palace...

Ahh things are going smooth with them, might of been a little bumpy at the start but was better down the road. How will things go for the boys next?
