The Title Doesn't Mean Anything (Puzzleshipping)

Chapter 33, Happens on the rooftop...

*Yugi's POV*

8am, man just waiting for him is nerve wracking. Grandpa came back early this morning so I had to be quite. I heard a soft knock on the door and looked through the peep hole to see Yami. I opened the door and we hugged each other. "I know I'm earlier then I said but hey, means we can get to school before the others," he said and I just laughed at him. Leave it to him to put a smile in my face in the morning.

I closed the door as quite as I could and locked it. We went to his limo and Kaiba opened the door for us. "Morning Tyke, I'm guessing that this will be a regular in the morning?" Kaiba asked and I didn't get time to answer him before Yami pushed me into the car. They both followed me and we were on our way to school.

"I think today there is a test in history. How you feeling about that Yugi?" Yami asked and I completely forgot about it. But I know it off by heart so I should be alright. Kaiba just let out a scoff at us and the entire ride was quiet. Once we got to the gates and we got let out, everyone was staring at us, mainly me. "Just ignore them, they're just jealous of you. Maybe it's your looks?"

"Oh haha very funny Yami. Let's just get to the classroom," I said and we all started to make our way to the room. Once we got there the door that is normally shut but it was slightly ajar. I had a peek in to see if anyone was in and there was someone sitting with their back facing me. They look really familiar...they have the same hair style as me and Yami. "Um hello? Are you new here?"

He turned his back and faced me and...he looks exactly like Yami!?!?! "Hello yeah I'm new here. You must be Yugi Muto that I have heard of so many things about. I thought that I would get an early start at the day. Oh how rude of me," he said and got up from his chair. He came over to us keeping his eyes on me and grabbed my hands. "My name is Atem, it's lovely to meet you.

"Alright alright no need to get handy with him," Yami said and dragged his hands away from mine. This Atem guy sat back down and we took our seats in the back. "Who does he think that he is? He doesn't even know you and he is acting like that. The nerve of him."

"My my Sire. Am I detecting a hint of jealously in you?" Kaiba asked and Yami just turned away from the both of us and stared out of the window. I could see his reflection and he was starting to go red in the face, he is jealous. 

I turned to Atem and he was looking at us but more at me until the bell went.  The rest of the class piled in and the teacher followed them in. This is going to be a long day.

*Time skip to lunch...*

"I am really liking this spot why don't we always come up here for lunch?" Tea asked after she stuffed her face. We were sitting on the school roof but Tristan and Bakura were no where to be seen. 

Joey had tried to message them but he got no answer so he went off to talk to Kaiba. "Those two have gotten really close. I haven't really seen Seto like this with anyone," Yami said and finished whatever he was eating. 

Tea got a call from one of her friends and disappeared down the stairs leaving the four of us. "Hey Yuge have you seen this new guy that looks like you two? I think his name was Atem? What's your thoughts on him?"

"I don't like the guy, something is off about him," Yami said and we just laughed remembering what he was like back in the classroom. "Come on I'm serious, it's the same feeling I had back with Pegasus."

Kaiba stopped laughing and just stood silent. I was about to say something to him but he ran off and dragged Joey with him. "O...k? I am deeply concerned for him," I said and sat back down next to Yami. The entire sky was clear, I think this is the hottest day we have had.  

"Yugi I want you to be a little careful around Atem." Yami said and even though I was going to say something he put a finger to my mouth. "No I need you to listen to me. Please just trust me on this."

"Alright, I'll try and stay away from him but if he comes to me then that's beyond my control." I said and he seems satisfied with me. "Hey Yami...have you ever went out with someone?"

"That's a bit random Yugi. But apart from Rebecca when I was a kid which wasn't really a thing no I haven't. Have you?"

"No. Tea wanted to date me a while ago and she still does but she isn't my type," I said and he just smiled at me. "H-Have you ever considered dating a guy?"

Oh Ra I can't make it any more obvious! But what if he said no? I need to remember that Joey said he liked me. "I don't have a preference so no I wouldn't mind. Where on earth is all of this coming from?"

"W-W-Well Yami I wanted to know. I-I-If you would consider going out with me?"

There he go'ssssssss peopleeeeee!!!! Wonder why Atem has come into play? What's his plans and what is Yami's answer to Yugi? AND WHY DOES KAIBA AND JOEY DISAPPEAR ALL THE TIME!?!?!
