*Yami's POV*
Even though I just got up, I feel so tired. I'm grateful that Yugi let me stay here the night but...what am I gonna do? I can't go back to the palace, my heart won't be able to take that. And I don't expect Yugi to say that I can stay here. Maybe I can find a bridge or..."Hey Yami, why didn't you get me up if you were awake?" I heard and turned to face Yugi. He must off feel asleep next to me last night after I passed out. Now that I think about it, when do friends sleep together?
"Sorry Yugi, I'm not long up," I told him and got out. I noticed I was still in my school uniform since I didn't have a change of clothes. "So....what are you plans for today?"
"Well school is in an hour but with your state I'd rather us just spend the day together. Wait here I'll see what I have spare." he said and started to rummage through his draws.
"N-No Yugi I can't bother you like this," I said and tried to stop him but he kept going. He finally found something and tossed them on the bed.
"I hope you don't mind that it's all dark colours. I've never really liked light colours," he said and rubbed the back of his neck. I saw it was a dark blue top with black jeans and a red checkered over-shirt. I didn't mind as light colours have never been my thing.
"Yugi....I can't thank you enough for what your doing for me...."I mumbled and didn't expect him to hear me. He sat down on the bed with me and brought me into a hug. "Why? We haven't known each other for long and your doing all this?"
"Yes I know that. But it's because I feel something with you. Like I've met you before and I wanna be with you anyway. I'm sure if our roles were switched you'd do the same right?"
I nodded my head to him as he moved from me and faced me, showing a bright smile. "Well then, I'll go to the bathroom for a quick shower. Stay in here for now until I get out."
He left me alone again and I could hear him turn on the water. The sun was blazing through the window, making the room hot. He really hasn't changed since he was little, always caring. Looking out the window, I saw some shadows coming to the door. But one shadow brought a shot through my spine, the hair of it and the overall shape of it... Seto.
*Yugi's POV*
Having a hot shower in the morning always jump starts me! As I was drying my hair, I heard a knock from the door and opened it to Yami. "Hey what's up? Something happen?""There's someone...at the front door.." he mumbled and took me to the top of the stairs. I could see the front door of the shop and indeed someone was there. Or theirs shadows were over casting over the door. "Don't tell them..."
I left him at the top, but moving him a little so he couldn't be seen. I got to the door and a knock came from it again. I unlocked it and opened it to find Yami's friends Kaiba and some others in armor. "My Ra. Tyke you sure have grown."
"Ummm sorry but your Seto right? You were with Yami on the first day of school, may I help you?" I asked and was confused on him calling me tyke. I saw he was glancing over my shoulder, probably trying to see if Yami was in the shop.
"Well I know your good friends with Prince Yami and he ran off last night jue to conditions. We wanted to see if he ran to you," he asked and tried to move forward.
"N-No sorry he hasn't come here. If I ever see him I'll be sure to alert you," I said and he reached in his pocket. He had a piece of paper and pen and started to write something. After he finished he gave it to me and I saw a number on it. "Is this your phone number?"
"Yes. If you ever find him give me a call. If I lose him then...I've lost everyone," he mumbled and I saw a single tear drop from his face. "Anyway I'll get going. I appreciate your help tyke. Stay in touch."
After this final words, he left leaving me confused to the new nickname he has given me. I closed the door and let out a huge sigh. "Yugi...is he gone now?" I heard and went back up to Yami. I sat next to him on the top of the stairs and nodded my head to him.
"Yami, for as long as you want you can stay here with me," I said and he whipped his head to face me. I didn't want him to disappear and not knowing where he would go. Also who else is his friend? I'm the only one who can be there for him right now. When grandpa comes back I'll talk to him then but for now it's fine.
