Today was the day. I just knew it. Today was the day I was gonna get the applications for the chuunin exams. I looked at the clock. It was almost nine, so I was more than just late. But, I still took my time and made sure I looked like I actually lived somewhere. When, I finally stepped out of the house, Naruto was the first person in my line of sight. "Good Morning, Kanra!" He yelled at the top of his lungs. "Hey, Naruto. Why're you here?" I asked him.

"Kakashi-sensei told me to wake you up this morning!" Naruto replied. "He said that he has important news and he doesn't want to tell us until you're there." So, Scarecrow wants the queen of combat to be there when he dishes out the news. Eh?! Wait....WHEN DID I START CALLING THIS GUY NARUTO?!!!!! This is just an off week for you, isn't it? I guess. "Hey, Naruto." I said. Naruto looked up at me expectantly. "Wanna have a race?" I asked. Naruto perked up a bit more. "Heck yeah! Eat my dust!"

Naruto sped off at top speed. Impressive! But, I'm clearly faster than that! I ran in the other direction. To boost my speed even more, I concentrated all of my chakra to my feet. Believe me, that really did the trick. I was running faster than I had expected. I didn't' stop until I spotted Sasuke, Scarecrow, and Pinkie at the bridge. Naruto didn't come yet. I sped over to them and perched myself on top of the railing.

"Hey, guys! Did I miss anything?" I said, batting my eyes sweetly. Sasuke perked up when he glanced at me and Pinkie was fuming. "What the hell, Kanra! Even Kakashi came earlier than you did! I can't believe we had to wait for you!" I glared at Pinkie. "Well, thank you for keeping track of the time! Next time you should try working on something that would actually make you more useful!" Pinkie gasped, but kept quiet.

Naruto came running up the bridge, completely out of breath. "How did you come here before me! I had a head start!"

"Well, it looks like I'm just faster than you. Maybe you could be good at something else. But, let Scarecrow talk now." Scarecrow cleared his throat and took out three cards. "Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura will be taking part in the chuunin exams this year. Kanra, you will be given another task, so you will not be able to be in this."

"What! Why not! I'm capable of competing! I'm better than all of those losers, take Gaara for example!" I yelled out loud. "How do you know about Gaara? You weren't there!" Pinkie yelled back at me. "Saskura's right. How do you know about Gaara. You were never there." Sasuke confirmed.

"Just let it go. Kanra, you will meet the Hokage in his office in an hour. He needs to talk to you about the exams." Scarecrow told me. They don't think that I'm capable of competing in their little battles. I already watched this episode, so I know what gonna happen before it even happens! I could take them all down! Don't get cocky, Kaede. Don't call me that stupid name! But, it IS your name.

I stomped off towards the Hokage's office. I decided to go early just to get it over with. I began to run and as soon as I turned the corner, I bumped into someone. "Hey, watch where you're going!" A familiar voice said. I looked up and saw the three people that I really hated. Kankuro, Temari, and the worst of all, Gaara. It wasn't that I was scared, it was just that I really hated their cockiness.

"Ugh, shut the fuck up you jackass!" I retorted as I stood up. Kankuro growled and glared at me. I crossed my arms and waited for him to say something. "Well are you gonna say someth-"

"Just get out of my way you stupid girl." Gaara said calmly. Something inside of me cracked and I just couldn't help yelling.

"HOW DARE YOU INTERRUPT ME WHILE I'M SPEAKING! DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?! I'M FUCKING KAEDE UCHIHA, QUEEN OF ALL THE UCHIHAS AND YOU WILL NOT INTERRUPT ME! THAT IS THE LAST THING YOU WOULD EVER DO! YOU MUST HAVE LOST YOUR EVERLASTING MIND!!!! DO THAT AGAIN AND I WILL HAVE YOUR HEAD ON A SILVER PLATTER YOU PEASANT! JUST WAIT UNTIL I KICK YOUR ASS LATER FOR THAT! YOU WOULDN'T EVEN LIVE TO SEE THE NEXT DAY!" When I finished, they all stared at me, completely taken aback. "Now, say I'm sorry your majesty." I told Gaara in a seductive voice. Or at least I think it was seductive.
