You gulped with difficulty as Jimin's hand on your back moved a little bit downwards only to find the right position and halted.
You have been dancing for some minutes and to be honest you had never felt more alerted and cautious of someone's movements before.
Every small harmless move he made while dancing made you so nervous and feel awkward and uncomfortable , like you had to be on edge to not make any wrong move and create any weird embarrassing situation.
"So, emm, why did you wanted to dance with me?" You asked him in an attempt to make a more comfortable atmosphere around you two and make those minutes feel less of passing through the hell of awkwardness.
"Mother asked my Father to dance and he rejected her so knowing that she might twist the events and take advantage of the situation by asking one of us to dance with her instead , me and Taehyung decided to flee before it was to long." He nonchalantly said and his words made you thing for a moment.
Well i pretty much know the reason why he doesn't want to be near her but what is Taehyung's reason? Actually , he didn't seem to dislike her that much.
You started analyzing the past events in your head , trying to find any clues of him behaving in a questionable way around her , but nothing really came to mind.
Suddenly Jimin pulls you closer causing you to land on his hard chest , thing that got you out of your trail of thoughts.
"I am so sorry ." The waiter behind you apologized as he seemed to be passing and he tripped bringing the tray really near you , almost hitting you but thanks to Jimin's quick reflexes was avoided by pulling you away from the tray and closer to him.
The waiter quickly went on with his job and Jimin slowly loosened his arms that had been wrapped protectively around you and faced you.
"You okay?" He asked with a worried gaze and you quickly nodded avoiding his eyes as your heart was beating really fast cause of the close contact you just shared .
Why did you looked up?! Just why?!
You scolded yourself in your head as while you were in his embrace you had looked up taking notice of his sharp jawline and perfect shaped lips that were so close to your face , making you lose it for a moment.
He was hot , there was no denying that and you were always aware of that but that wasn't exactly why you considered him dangerous in general.
It was the whole package that was really threatening you. A package you thought he didn't had cause only the out look was never enough for you.
You weren't a superficial lady and actually looked for feeling and kindness in people. Character and an appealing personality and this was the problem.
As you get to know him , he keeps showing sides you never knew, making him more human in your eyes and as such more relatable and sympathetic.
"Em..this dress really complements you well." He said , his voice bringing you once again out of the trail of thoughts that you had dived in , making you flustered by his sudden complement.
"Oh!Em..thank you, i guess." You responded with a clearly awkward response and you cursed at yourself inwards for always making everything so weird.
Is it so hard for me to act normal for once. Jeez.
Jimin smiled at your response widely causing you to give him a confused look as to why was he smiling all of a sudden.

"You make it so obvious that you are not used to complements Miss Y/N. It's really funny." He admitted while he kept smiling while leading the dance as he was and you just gave him a death stare as his words seemed like he was mocking you.
"Don't give me that face.It makes you look cute." Jimin said and gave you a wink causing your eyes to flew wide in surprise and him to start giggling again as he was messing with you to see your reactions.
"You know what mister Park. I thing you are forgetting your position right this moment." You told him seriously as he was doing A LOT for someone that is a professor dancing with one of his students.
"First of all, i am off duty now , so we are just two people dancing . And secondly you are under my commands as far as i remember so i don't really need permission to tease you if i feel like it." He arrogantly responded making you want to fucking step on his foot right that instant and make him scream like a little girl from the pain .
"But..this time i am teasing you in a friendly attempt." He continued making you throw your previous thought at the corner and analyze this new information .
What is he trying to say?
"That meant that i am letting myself be more comfortable and consider you a friend for tonight Y/N." Jimin spoke again clarifying his words as he had guest your struggling by the face expression that you instantly wore after his sentence.
And should i be happy about this now?!
You gave him a smile as you nodded your head in understanding not knowing how exactly were you supposed to react at his unexpected words that obviously would not last after tonight, as he himself said.
He kept leading the dance now a little more fast as it seemed he was enjoying himself and letting his worries and thoughts sway away by the turns and spins your two bodies were taking making you lose connection with the reality as it felt like you were dancing in soft clouds.
That's how effortless and enjoyable he made it look as in his lips was plastered and innocent sweet smile that had captured your attention.
Jimin suddenly came to a abrupt halt as his smile dropped instantly , making you follow his gaze that was pinned in a certain direction, to find out what had caused this change in his behavior and mood that had certainly darkened.
No way!!
You thought as you saw Jimin's girlfriend that it seemed had been here as well for a while and now she was kindly accepting the hand of the man that politely invited her to a dance.
But it was not only the fact that she was there in a time that surely didn't benefited Jimin that had made Jimin's eyes become hostile and deadly.
But It was the fact that the man that invited her to a dance was non other than his own Brother, Taehyung, that made his blood boil at this unfair towards him coincidence.
