Chapter 97

NeeRin ,You and Sira were silently seated at the living room ,agonizingly waiting for  them to come out so you could finally get to know how their conversation actually went. To say that the minutes felt like they were a torture wouldn't be an understatement as you were actually scared for this conversation after noticing NeeRin's long face that made worrisome thoughts to get born in your mind coming up with what ifs that included that Mr Park is human too and obviously may have not liked the betrayal and he may be charged negatively and say things that would hurt Jimin and Taehyung more and that would have been really bad.

On the other hand though you reassured yourself that even if he would have such feelings he was mature enough to control them and do the right thing . You didn't know him for long but he didn't seem as an irrational and impulsive person when it comes to his actions.

"Excuse me for asking but i can't help but be curious." Sira spoke up suddenly gaining your attention and soon you followed her gaze that was directed at NeeRin.

"How come you told him all this when it wasn't necessary. If they would tell him or not that was their choice. Of course you are involved and you have a right to speak but it got me by surprise." NeeRin looked at her with an expressionless face before coldly asking her about what was she trying to say exactly and Sira didn't hesitate to enlighten her.

" I don't know you and actually even the sides of the story of those two i don't know them well enough to speak of them but i was just wondering.. If.. You know.. Are you okay?" Her words got you both by surprise, however you soon smiled understanding that she was worried about her something you thought about too but you had some other people to worry about and forget to ask her. Nonetheless you were glad she did and as you saw NeeRin's gaze that softened you immediately understood that she was touched.

"Thanks for asking. I may not be exactly fine but I got something heavy out of my shoulders and even though it hurt, I realize i should have done it sooner." She admitted, her fingers playing with one another on her lap till your hand rested upon them making her look up to face you.

" Things are gonna be better from now on. Hang in there."Your supportive words and caring gaze was like an arrow that hit a spot inside her heart, having missed someone to show care towards her and truly comfort her. Her family would never do such a thing, considering that they were people whom she was never allowed to show any weakness to and she had no friends to run to because she was in a position she couldn't trust anyone.

She had only Jimin that would be all that for her. A pillar she could lean on, someone that would comfort her and care for her, listen to her problems and love her. Jimin whom she lost while trying to win the hearts of her family and became someone they would finally accept. Jimin whom after losing him she understood how empty and miserable her life felt without him but there was no turning back and all her tries to bring him back to her had only brought this to a bigger tragedy. All her mistakes, all her wrong doings, she knows them all but her heart still kept asking for him. Till he got involved with you and she caught herself admitting that you were better for him. You were all he needed so he could recover from the scars her love gave him and because she loved him, she had pushed aside her egoism and accepted you. An egoism that is not always easy to control because in her heart it is still only Jimin.

"You make me feel like a demon between angels. You are both to good." NeeRin smiled as she retrieved her hands out of your touch and you laughed at her words that were far from true.

"There is no such thing. We are all humans and as thus sinners."

"Yeah. I have sneaked out of my house so many times. Bad girls do that." Sira added after you making you crack up once again her magical powers of making every awkward moment more comfortable getting to work, soon she engaging you into a set of short stories with the so called bad things she has done in her life.
