Chapter 35

You kept glancing over at Taehyung who was seating at his usual seat in the auditorium.

You had come to university together as he had told you, his mood however totally different from what was the moment he woke up.

It was understandable why he would behave like that after that scene with his step mother but you couldn't help but worry about him.

He had barely spoke any words after he had let go of you, breaking the hug and had just closed himself off in a way, not even bothering to greet any of his friends that approached him enthusiastically as always this morning.

Even Sira had noticed his change of mood and was clearly worried too, judging from the sneaky glances you had caught her giving him from time to time.

"Y/N. Can we talk about something after this lesson?" She asked you, getting your attention.

You nodded quietly while trying to refocus your attention of what remained of this class.

Fortunately the teacher ended the class a little earlier today, leaving you enough time to talk before you needed to head to another auditorium.

"So, what did you want to talk about Sira?" You asked her while you were placing your notebook back on your backpack.

She looked around scanning the place before she answers you, making sure that the most students were getting out and paid no attention.

"It's about Taehyung." She said, moving her seat closer to you.

"What about him?" You whispered back leaning closer to her face, understanding that this was a talk that shouldn't be overheard by anyone.

"Mm.. Wait a minute." She said then grabbed her phone, writing a message then giving it to you to read it.

Your eyes widened as you read the letters on the screen then a smile formed on your lips of happiness that she finally admitted what you had been suspicious about for a while.

"So you like him after all." You said and she quickly brought her hand on your lips, hushing you.

"Yes. And I don't know what to do." She admitted, her gaze falling to the floor as her hand was removed from your mouth.

"Yah, why are you so depressed about it? You have never fallen in love or liked anyone till now as far as i know." You told her while tilting your head to meet her eyes.

"That's exactly why. I kinda told him that I was interested and he told me to give up. I have no chance it seems." She informed you and you went quiet thinking of the reason why he might have said that.

"Did he said exactly that or?" You asked wanting to be sure of the advice you were ready to give her.

"He said that he likes me more than a one night stand and doesn't want to hurt me. He is a lost case so i shouldn't waste my time on him. That's what he said pretty much." Sira told you, her eyes almost getting watery while she was recalling their talk on his car that night that he had send her home.

You wrapped your arms around her and pulled her in a quick hug before breaking it and meeting her eyes again.

" Listen well to what I am about to say, okay? Don't ask how i know or why I am so sure, just trust my words. He needs you to do exactly the opposite of what he told you Sira. He may be a lost case but he gave you the power to save him the moment he told you that he doesn't want to hurt you. He cares about you and that's a privilege for you. Do you understand? "You told her, your eyes pinned at hers.

She stayed silent for a moment before she nodded her head, her usual cheerful smile making its appearance on her lips.

" I won't give up then. I will try harder since i like him. Thank you Y/N. I knew you would advise me well. I love you so much." She exclaimed, her arms wrapping quickly around you, hugging you tight and making you giggle at her actions.
