Chapter 34

Taehyung gave a quick glance towards the kitchen reminding himself of your presence.

He surely didn't want you to be hearing all this but he had no choice as his mother seemed to have come here with improper intentions.

"If my feelings are the same or not that's for me to know. No matter the case though, i am sorry but i have to turn you down." He answered to  her proposal that he knew that was insincere.

He was not stupid after all, he might have been crazy in love with this woman but he knew her well enough. Her good and bad side. And unfortunately he loved her either way.

Her eyes traveled to the floor at his response while her hand remained on his chest, the contact burning his skin and making the heart that was hiding under it beat for her again.

Taehyung always hated this part when it came to him. He was not easy to fall for someone but once he would he would love then wholeheartedly. And that was why he could not forget her still to this day. Like a curse always something remained inside him that cared for her in a way that it was forbidden to him considering his position now and their relationship.

"Why did you came to me? What are you planning this time?" He asked her directly not having any intentions of beating around the bush.

She lifted her eyes and looked at him, a sad expression on her face, her  painful gaze stabbing him right in his heart.

She leaned her forehead to his chest, her arms falling loosely at the side of her body while Taehyung remained frozen in place.

"He is serious this time. He is leaving me behind." She murmured on his white t-shirt, her hands reaching around Taehyung's waste and hugging him lightly.

Taehyung reached out his right hand, bringing it behind her back ready to hug her back but he stopped himself.

Once again she had come here just to use him, knowing that she was his weakness. All she wanted was comfort since she was in pain and she had come to him as her only shelter as well as revenge. And he knew that well.

"Who?" Taehyung asked even though he knew well who was she referring to because she always cared only about him, longed only for him and loved only him. All the other men were merely dolls to achieve her goals or threaten Jimin that he might lose her.

"Jimin has a girlfriend. That stupid maid. And he seems serious about her. I am losing him." She responded between her tears that were now getting his shirt wet.

Her tears however did not touched him at all, in contrary they made him more mad by the second at how cruel can she get.

She knew his feelings for her yet here she was, playing with his emotions and expecting of him to comfort her while she was crying over another man that was non other than his brother. She indeed was being really egoistic, hurting him like this.

"Don't call her stupid. Y/N is better than you can ever be." He told her, his arms having grabbed hers and pushing her away from him abruptly.

She looked at him shocked for a moment not believing what he had just done nor said to her.

"What? You are defending her? Why? Do you like her too?" She yelled back, having lost her calmness that she had never dropped in front of your eyes.

Taehyung did not answered her and the short silence that fell between them created tension that made you feel uncomfortable even though you were still hiding safely.

"How did she managed, that ugly duck, to win you both? That's just absurd! Yah, you promised you would love me till the day you die. Was that a lie?" She spoke up, Taehyung's fist clenching at the side of his body from pain and anger.

She didn't love him yet she wanted to have him like a dog running behind her but she was wrong if she thought he would leave himself become a puppet in her hands. Yes he loved her and still does but he has his pride to keep however the fact that she was tempting him to betray his consciousness was what made him angry.

When will the day come that he will be freed from this prison, this hell that made him sin every single day by just recalling his past or bringing her to mind.

"Just go and don't come to me ever again to cry. You are not welcomed as anything else but my mother. Did I made myself clear.?" Taehyung's gaze completely cold as he talked harshly to her and she scoffed in disbelief of what he had just said to her.

However after seeing that his gaze remained serious she turned around and grabbed her bag, leaving some threatening words behind, before passing him by. "You will regret this."

Taehyung's head dropped low as he heard the front door close behind her. He stayed unmoved looking at his feet till you hesitantly approached him, your feet falling to his vision.

He slowly looked up meeting your eyes that reflected the worry you had for him at that moment and his hands didn't took long to shove your body in his embrace where he kept you tight.

His face buried between your hair as he whispered for you to stay like this just for a moment, making you hug him back as tight as he was in an attempt to reassure him and comfort him as he looked like he was in pain at that moment.

That woman.. You are both in pain because of her...it's unfair.

You thought to yourself as with what you knew about this situation till now that woman had messed both Jimin's and Taehyung's lives, making them go through heartaches like the one you were witnessing Taehyung having right this moment.

Somehow you understood at this moment the hate towards his brother as it was logical to envy someone that has what you love however the case between these two brothers sure went beyond envy or jealousy but you had yet to find out the whole truth.

Whatever the case one thing was for sure and that was that all this situation was unfair towards the relationship between the two brothers that seem to still care and cherish their memories of the past together while living like enemies.

I don't know how but I really want to make their relationship get better.

I want them to be happy again.

And i will do whatever i can to make that happen.

You thought, confidence taking over you as you were now determined to get them to be one good terms once again.
