Jungkook slammed his body on the couch once you two arrived at the living room, having left Sira and Taehyung alone in your room.

"Since when did your friend got a boyfriend?" He asked, while taking a chocolate chip out of the small package he was holding.

"Taehyung is not her boyfriend but why are you asking?" You eyed him suspiciously while taking a seat right next to him.

"Just wondering. Do you have a boyfriend too?" He questioned, his right cheek puffy as he was chewing on his snack.

"I don't either." You replied simply, now eyeing the chocolate with desire to have some.

"It didn't look like that to me. The professor was clearly eyeing you at the Party." His unexpected comment got you by surprise, getting your mind out of the intentions of asking him to give you some chocolate.

"Don't try to deny it. You have nothing to explain to me. You are safe." Jungkook added, now offering some chocolate to you with a thin smile on his lips.

You looked at him for a while, not initiating to take on his offer as you simply were contemplating over his words and if you could really trust him or not.

" Come on Y/N. I hate people getting up on others people business more than anything. Nelson's example should be assuring enough to you. Your life is non of my business." Jungkook explained , noticing immediately how uncomfortable you had become.

"I am thankful you think so but just for the record, me and him are not like you think." You told him, finally allowing your fingers to take a chocolate and shove it in your mouth, your eyes averting away from his, quietly.

Jungkook stayed silent for a while, thinking that you must have be hiding many things he could not even wrap his mind around, but at the same time that was normal, cause that's how life is. Everyone has their own mini world as he himself has.

"Did you talked with your friend.?" You asked him, in an attempt to start a conversation, simultaneously diverting the subject somewhere else.

After your question though, instead of a conversation coming to life, silence grew more, making you throw your gaze at him.

" Is Something wrong?" You asked him and he just shoved down the whole remaining chocolate on the package, before throwing it on the table, now empty.

Jungkook leaned back, his head looking up the ceiling, before a heavy sigh escaped his lips.

"I called her and she doesn't peak up, i texted her and she doesn't open them either. I want to go to meet her but -" He paused, his nervousness and fear surfacing on his facial expression.

"I don't know what to say. I don't know what to tell her to make her understand and not throw me out of her life. But at the same time, I... I am afraid that even after I say all I have to say, she will push me away anyway." He confessed, making you understand how he was feeling and how troubled his situation really was.

" I don't know much about that girl, or your relationship with her but she seemed nice and considering that she received your.. Am.. So called present, she definitely has more than friendship feelings for you too." You spoke up, feeling a little embarrassed about the fact that you had to address the 'engagement present' he gave to her.

" I don't doubt that. I felt her feelings, they are engraved in my mind, my body. But we can not be together. I knew that from the start and I always wanted to blame it on our friendship zone. And now that i broke that excuse, the reality is going to hurt. "He chuckled as he ended his sentence, somehow making his words sadder than they sounded.
