You had sat on the couch, opposite you seated Park Jimin, legs crossed and a friendly expression on his face.
"We were about to call you Y/N, your roommate was about to leave." Your mother told you as she was seated beside you, she being the one that pulled you to sit to begin with as you still where kinda speechless and in shock of his unexpected presence.
"My what?" You asked, giving her a confused look before your eyes landed on Jimin.
"Me and Y/N have been leaving under the same roof for a while and since I had to attend some business my father asked of me, i thought of passing by to see her, as i told you earlier . I hope i did good Y/N." She said, a kind smile on his lips while you just blinked, your brain not being able to calculate fast enough all the lies he managed to say in one sentence only.
" Of course you did well son. We had always been kind of worried about her roommate and the fact that it was a boy to be honest but now that i met you, i can see that you are a nice guy with morals and goals for the future. Excellent, excellent." Your father spoke up, making you direct your gaze at him not believing your ears that he would say a good word about any guy that was near you.
What the heck did he told them to win them over like this?!!
You freaked out on your mind, as seeing your father behaving so polite and friendly with a guy that came home for you, was more than unbelievable.
It was not that your parents were controlling or anything but your dad kinda disliked seeing boys around you, mostly because he didn't trust them as he would say and because no man seemed good enough for his daughter.
"Oh Sr, you are giving me to much praise. I am barely doing what anyone should do. I know working and supporting my family while studying at the same time sounds tough but life is life and I can do nothing but my best." Jimin responded humbly, again letting you know a small summary of some other lies that he had apparently said, making himself looking like the perfect hardworking humble student.
" I shall go now, it's getting late . Thank you for your hospitality. I am so honored to have met the parents that raised such a well mannered daughter. You should be proud." He stood up as he said those words, his eyes falling on you, maintaining that innocent and proper expression on his angelic looking face.
" What are you talking about. We told you there is no way that we will let you stay alone in holiday season. You are gonna stay here with us." Your mother told him, making you snap at her words.
"What?!! Noo~. He has to go back to Seoul, don't you?!" You gritted your teeth at him as you asked and he just smiled as your father gave you an answer.
"He hasn't finish his business so he will be in town until the first day of the new year. You have been staying at the same house for years now, some more days would bring no harm." Your father looked at him fondly as he patted his shoulder, pulling Jimin to sit back on the couch as he did.
" Since you are insisting, i will take the offer. I hope i am not being a burden though. "He shyly agreed, his hands playing with each other awkwardly as if he was only staying really because they asked him to.
He is such a freaking actor!!! Oh my God!!
You screamed in your head, as you were left watching his whole act with mouth open.
" You have been taking care of our daughter for so long, don't even think of being a burden. You are always welcomed here." Your mother kindly told him, a sweet smile on her lips, clearly indicating that she really was fond of him and the wink that she turned and gave to you sneakily, clearly showed that she wasn't only fond of Jimin but approved him for something more too.
