"Noctis. Wake up! Noctis!" Leah shook him awake.
"Huh? What do you think you're doing?" he asked.
"I'm sorry, but... you're crying."she said softly.
He reached up and touched the wet streak down his face, "Oh, this again huh."
Noctis grabbed her and turned her over to where he was pressed to her back. He placed his hand to the left side of her chest and sat there, feeling the pounding of her heart.
"Noc- what are you-?"
She stopped and sat there for a minute, finally realizing what he was doing, "Noctis... your dream just now..."
He pressed his face to the back of her neck, "Just go back to sleep, Leah." He said softly.
Leah reached up and grabbed the back of his hand, locking their fingers and squeezing it to let him know it was real,
"I won't leave your side, so please don't worry..."
"Don't be stupid. For as long as I can, just feeling your beating heart is enough."
