Leah drug Noctis into the next room and closed the door.

"What the hell? I thought you promised to not get into a fight!"

"It wasn't really big. He pulled a knife as a joke so I did too. You came in at a really bad time. He was going to apologize."

Leah paced back and forth a few times as if it would let out some of her pent-up anger,

"From now on, I expect you to be on your best behavior. I don't care who we are around. If you get into any more fights, I swear, I'll beat you down."

He nodded and grabbed her, forcing her to stop pacing. "You look stressed."

"Why do you think?" Leah said sarcastically.

Noctis hugged her close to him and put his chin on her head, "Welcome to your life. There's no turning back now."

Leah didn't pay attention to him. She was so tired. She put her head on his shoulder and wrapped her arms around him. His warmth was overwhelming and made her even more sleepy. She hadn't had time to get used to the time difference and had been awake for almost 24 hours. There was no telling how tired Vanz was either. It was her first time being overseas.

_______

"Vanz calm down." Gabriel said. "We were just messing around. We weren't going to do anything."
