Leah lay down on the bed and sighed. She needed sleep, but she was so tired that her mind was racing. Another problem was that she hadn't written anything in her journal and too many things were running through her mind.
She turned everything inside out backward until she fell asleep. A few hours later, a knock rang through the small dark room.
"Leah~" she heard Noctis call sweetly. He only ever said her name like that when they were alone.
"Come in~" she responded.
He opened the door and walked over to the bed, allowing the door to close on its own. He crawled over her and rested his weight on his elbows, "We're alone." He whispered softly into her ear.
"Okay, and?"
"And I'm lonely." Noctis kissed her neck.
"I think you have the wrong word there." Leah said, giggling quietly.
"Well, does it matter as long as work gets done?"
A thought hit Leah, which was most likely more true than not, "how much have you been drinking?"
"Not at all. I'm just lonely."
"I think the correct term for what you are is turned up."
"Can I not just want to mess around with you every once in a while?" He asked.
"This isn't like you though. What's gotten into you?"
Noctis got up off of her and stood up, "you know what? Never mind."
She stretched out and made herself look as irresistible as possible, "No, I'm sorry, I'll let you do whatever you want with me." She begged.
Noctis looked back for a moment and couldn't take his eyes off of her.
Keep. Walking. He thought.
Leah got up out of the bed and walked lightly behind him. She wrapped her arms around him and slid her hands under his shirt.
"So you kill the mood then try to build it up?" Noctis asked.
"I like the mood to be built fresh." Leah traced the grooves in his abdomen.
"Why is that so fucking sexy?" he asked, biting his lip.
"Because you haven't gotten anything in a while. So I guess your game will be stronger right?"
He turned around and pulled her closer to him, "My game is always strong."
Noctis picked her up by the waist and she wrapped her legs around him. She laughed and kissed him. He didn't pick her up very often, but he always kissed her differently when he did. It was more, excited.
"Why are you so excited?" Leah asked between kisses.
"I can't help it." He threw her down onto the bed and lay on top of her, "I haven't done this in a while."
He kissed her neck and jaw, leaving a small bruise on her collarbone. The small stinging spot on the base of her neck gave a large hint on what had happened but she didn't care. She let out a groan that was fairly loud as they heard the front door open. They immediately pulled the covers around them in an attempt to look at least mostly naked and continued to make-out. Waiting for someone to open the cracked door.
Vanz poked her head in the door and snickered lightly to herself, "So your having sex on an entirely different country now?"
"The sex part is already over, unless you want a second round?" Leah said, desperately holding back a laugh.
"I would rather not. But anyway, I hope you used a condom or some shit."
Leah sat up and pushed Noctis off of her, "What if we didn't?"
An unamused look crossed Vanz's face, "well I would hope that you were smart enough to."
"Are you calling me stupid?" Leah asked more sternly.
"I just don't want you making something you'll regret."
"So you really have forgotten." Leah said, swinging her legs over the side of the bed.
"Forgotten what?"
"I'm never going to be able to have kids remember? Or have you forgotten all of the rage and pain that went through your head when we got into that bar-fight and I was stabbed three times bad enough that they had to remove my uterus and parts of my insides, because some stupid drunk decided that it would be funny to kill someone? Vanz I've lost almost everything because of idiots, I've lost every chance of having a family. I've lost my mother and my older brother is paralyzed because of idiots, yet you are accusing me of being one?" the look on Leah's face was almost hurt.
"I never accused you of being an idiot."
"Also, since when would I regret having a child with someone that I love? I would sell my soul to have a family."
She looked down and put her head in her hands, "You know this." Leah said, choking back tears.
Vanz had pushed all of that to the back of her mind over the years, she had honestly all but forgotten it.
"All of those times that I teased you about birth control, how bad did it hurt you?" Vanz asked quietly.
"I got used to it. But it's something that I think about at night when I can't sleep. I think the worst though is planning a life, and knowing that you can't keep your promises." Leah broke down and sobbed into her hands.
Vanz knew who she was talking about when she said planning a life. Noctis and Leah often joked around and he let Leah describe what she thought their life would be like if they got married. Noctis was the first one to say anything about kids though. Vanz looked at Noctis who held Leah close to him, whispering something into her ear every once in a while.
"I...I'm sorry...I haven't been the best friend to you, and I am so, so sorry." Vanz said quietly, a few tears of her own streaming down her cheeks.
Though, she knew Leah didn't hear, because the blonde haired girl simply clung to Noctis and continued to sob into his chest.
__________
Ok. So. Let me explain.
This goes from smut to feels in about .2 seconds because it was something that needed to be explained and is part of the reason Leah has minor depression issues.
Vanz feels AWEFUL about forgetting something so painful for her sister. I may go into detail later in a filler but idk.
