Evan's POV

It's basically midnight, Jared left a few hours ago, and my mom isn't home yet. I pull out my phone and text Connor.

Me: Hi

Connor: hi :)

Connor: wyd

Me: Nothing much. You?

Connor: questioning my sexuality

Connor: sorry

Me: What? Did I mess something up? I did, I totally did.

Connor: no ofc you didn't do anything wrong

Connor: its just that i thought i was straight, i mean ive never had anything, done anything

Did he just send that? Really? Wow.

Me: OMG, Connor, was that your first kiss?!

Connor: maybe

Thats precious. I'm probably not worthy of that first experience though, that's probably why he's confused. I did everything all wrong.

Me: Senior year. You're a cinnamon roll.

Evan! Why. Did. You. Just. Send. That? Idiot.

Connor: :)

Connor: if anyones a cinnamon roll its u

Four days pass and Connor doesn't come to school. He doesn't respond to any of my texts. I hope he's okay. Dumbass, erm, I mean, idiot. He's clearly not okay, go to his house and check. I put on my shoes and open my front door. Dude, no. You weren't invited. Also, he's probably just avoiding you, don't make it worse. I close the door. But, what if he's in trouble? There's no way he is, not in this kind of neighborhood. But, what if he is? I race out the door and to Connor's house before I can change my mind. My finger lingers on the doorbell for too long, I finally push it.

"Hi, Evan," Connor's mom greets me, with a slightly shocked, yet still happy, expression on her face. "Connor's busy right now, but Zoe and I were about to have some tea and watch a movie if you would like to stay."

"Uhm I would l-like that, b-but I need to go se, um, go see Connor," I rush.

"Um, E-" his mom starts.

"Thanks," I interrupt, feeling adrenaline pulsing through me. I open Connor's bedroom door slowly, relieved that it makes no noise.

Connor is, surprisingly, wearing a white t-shirt with black dusty stains, and not-so-surprisingly also wearing black skinny jeans. He has his hair messily pulled back into a bun. I creep into the room, closing the door behind me. I stand behind the chair Connor is standing on, cleaning the ceiling. I think some of the dust lands on my face, but I don't really know, or care. My brain is fixated on Connor, my eyes, my ears, my nose, all of me is fixated on this boy in front of me. I hear him humming the tune of Falling (from "Brooklyn Crush" *finger guns*)

He steps off of the chair and slowly turns around, wiping his hands on a rag.

"H-hi," I whisper, barely able to speak. Connor is beautiful.

"Evan?" An angel. "Hi," he grins, then transitions into laughter. It's adorable, I feel as if in a trance. "You have a little something-" he places his palm on my cheek, his hands are so soft, and he tilts my head towards his. He smiles and brings his face closer, our lips connecting. Too soon, he pulls away. "There," he finishes his sentence.

"Why haven't you been in school?" I ask, wow way to ruin the moment.

"I'll tell you later, its not that big of a deal. But, you actually have some dirt on your cheek," he says rubbing my cheek gently with his thumb. "Do you mind if I change my shirt?" he asks.

I blush, "um, sure."

Connor's POV

I walk over to the corner where there's a heap of clean clothes. I pick up a t-shirt, with my back turned to Evan. I pull my shirt off over my head, and before I can put on my clean shirt I feel Evan's nose on my shoulder and his arms around my waist. I grin, flipping around. He shoves me onto my bed, then gasps softly, terrified.

"I'm- I'm so sorry," he says, looking worries.

My grin widens and I grab his right hand, pulling him onto the bed and enveloping him in a warm hug.

"Hi," he blushes and allows himself to smile.

"Hi," my face tingles with heat, linking our lips once again.

Evan's POV

"Hi," I grin.

"Hi," Connor repeats, blushing and kissing me softly.

I kiss back harder, and he gasps a little.

"Did I, uh, did I do something wr-wrong?" I push myself up. He just grins, his face bright red. He links our hands, lacing our fingers together, our lips meet again. He sits up, I'm now on his lap. I kiss his lips harder than before, smiling. He stretches his neck up, so I kiss his jaw, working my way to his collarbone. I keep kissing, leaving little hickeys on his collarbone. I finally nuzzle his neck, leaving him to giggle. He pulls me closer, still laughing. I grin into his shoulder holding him tighter.

"More?" he pouts, and I grin wider, my face growing warmer. He kisses my shoulder lightly as I move my face towards his. He smirks, but it's not an evil smirk, a mean smirk. It's a happy smirk, a 'lets keep going' smirk. His fingers slide down my back slowly, reaching my hips, where my pants sit. He tugs at the edge of the fabric, I gasp softly. He tries to pull my pants off, but I pull away slightly.

"Not yet," I stare into his eyes. "Please."

"Okay," his cheeks turn pink along with the tips of his ears. He rests his head next to mine, and whispers something in my ear.

Connor's POV

"Not yet," Evan whispers, gazing towards my eyes. "Please."

"Okay," I feel my ears warm up. I lean down to his shoulder. "I love you, Evan Hansen," I whisper.

He grins, his cheeks turning a deep red. "I love you too, Connor Murphy," he says, stutter-free. I grin, probably wider than I ever have before.
