"Of course I want to hang out with you, dummy." I replied "As long as it's not like some super romantic date or anything."

"But you don't even know me." He continued on with his charade.

"Oh yeah? Then how do I know you have a freckle on your butt?" I life's a brow at him.

"Shut up about my butt freckle." He said.

"Fine." I said and got up out of the bed. He just watched me stretch and put on jeans. "I'm going to join the boys for breakfast, if they haven't eaten it all already."

"And I will follow." He said and put on his jeans and left the room with me.

I caught Phil in the kitchen cooking with Owen and demanded that he sit at the table with Dan and not do anything because they just got off tour.

The four of us sat around the table eating our lovely breakfast.

"I need you to be ready by seven tonight." Dan said.

"Okay." I agreed "aren't you still worn out through from tour?"

"Or from last night?" Owen joked.

"Um no. Nothing happened last night except a good sleep. Not that it would be anyone's business anyway, but no." Dan said. "Just friends at this table, well except you Owen, I don't like you."

"Yeah I know. The feeling is mutual sister." Owen replied to Dan.

"No body dislikes me though, right?" Phil who had been awfully quiet until now spoke up.

"Everyone loves you Philly." I replied.

"Awww." Dan said feigning affection as he looked at Phil. "Me too."

"Shut up Dan." I told him.

"I'm actually in love with Phil, we're secret lovers, right Phil?" Owen asked obviously joking.

"I don't know about that." Phil replied.

Breakfast was nice. I loved getting to see them after so long and the thought that they'd spend their first morning home with me made me feel so lucky.

As I was getting ready later that night, Phil called me.

"Hey Philly." I answered the phone happily.

"Excited about your date tonight?" Phil asked.

"It's not a date. Hey, why have you been acting so strange?" I figured I'd just ask.

"How do you mean?"

"Well you remember that conversation that we had before I left you guys, right?" I asked.

"About us liking each other, I remember."

"Well so why are you so team Dan. I thought you'd be upset or something. I thought... I don't know."

"It's not right (y/n), I couldn't. Dan and I ended up having a very long talk and I know he says a lot of things he doesn't mean, but this time he really showed me and proved it. You're something very serious to him."

"Serious? Like how serious?" I asked. He said he had wanted me to meet his family when he got back but I don't know if he really still wanted me to or not.

"Very." Phil replied.

"Oh."
Phil's response kind of scared me a little and I wasn't exactly sure what to say.

I just wanted to stay Dan's friend for now and I wasn't exactly ready just yet for whatever kind of seriousness Phil was insinuating to.

"Don't worry, he's not just going to jump head first into this, he's so terrified of loosing you again."

"Excuse me, Do you even know the Dan Howell I know? Jumping head first is his favourite activity! How can he even lose me again if he still doesn't even have me?" I pointed out.

"I think it'll be fine." Phil assured me.

"I'll try to take your word for it. What's he doing right now?" I asked.

"Rigorously getting ready in his room for his date with you."

"It's not a date. I'm going to get off here and text him right now and ask him." I told Phil.

"Alright, but it's definitely a date though."

"Bye Phil." I said dryly and hung up followed by immediately texting Dan

"This isn't a date, is it?"

"Nope. Wear something kind of nice though." He sent back.

"It's not a date, told you." I sent Phil as I went through my clothes for something a little nicer to wear.

Not even an hour later there was a knock at the door and I found myself praying I wore the right attire.

"Your date is here!" Owen called apparently having answered the door before I did.

"It's not a-" I began but I was cut off by how Dan was dressed. He was in a white button up shirt and his black jeans looking rather awkward with a bouquet of roses.

"Sure." Owen said as he walked off a little bit, but just enough so Dan didn't see he was watching the whole interaction and faking vomiting gestures.

"I thought you said this wasn't a-"

"It's not." He said simply "friends give friends flowers."

I suppose he was right.

I took the flowers and Owen grabbed them from my hands.

"I got them, just go before either of you have to make another excuse on how this isn't a date." He said.

"It's not." I called to Owen as Dan dragged me out the door making me laugh.

He opened the door to the back of the taxi for me before getting in the other side.

"Where are we going?" I asked him.

"Depends." He shrugged.

"On what?"

"If you can guess what we're doing and who's going to be there." He grinned.

"Just tell me." I groaned.

"Just guess." He laughed.

"What if I'm wrong?"

"If you're wrong you let me tweet something from your phone."

"And if I'm right?" I now asked.

"You can ask me to do one thing for you, anything you want."
