"now I've got you in my space
i won't let go of you
got you shackled in my embrace
i'm latching on to you"

I hate admitting this, but Naila has me wrapped all around her finger. She doesn't even have to be doing anything, just her existing and being around her had me following her around like a lost puppy and I think I might be smothering her a bit. I wanted to do something cute without being so alarming about it because I can tell Naila isn't completely used to having me around her 24/7.

Placing my note on her bed, I smiled at the middle school vibe everything was. I wanted to take her out, and instead of just asking her I made a "Do You Want To Go Out With Me?" note with the three check boxes: Yes, Maybe, and No (Yes). I placed a red rose and a Hershey's Cookies & Cream Chocolate Bar on the bed as well because I know those are her favorite. I've been getting to know Naila on a deeper than the surface level, but I can tell I still have barely broken through to her yet. She's briefly told me to be careful when it came to her morals and emotions, so I'm keeping my distance on my side of the romantic stuff so I'm sure she's comfortable.

"What's this, lovebug?"

"A declaration of mine, if you want to put it that way. So...did you check a box?"

"Sure did. Here you are. Thanks for the Cookies & Cream bar by the way."

"Of course, princess."

When I looked back at the note, I saw that she checked "No" and wrote a note at the bottom: "If you wanna go out on a date, just ask me. But since it said yes in parentheses, of course I'll go.

Peeking back into her bedroom I asked, "So, is that a solid yes?"

"I don't know, is it? I have my makeup and clothes on so I'm ready babe! This should be fun but I gotta wait for your ass to get ready

"I don't know, is it? I have my makeup and clothes on so I'm ready babe! This should be fun but I gotta wait for your ass to get ready. Where we going, by the way?"

"I was reading up on your epilepsy a little bit and I have a question. Do you have photosensitive epilepsy? Because I wanted to go to my favorite club downtown and I didn't know if I was possibly putting you in harms way or any—"

"Kai! I'm good, I love clubbing actually. Haven't been in a while but thank you for caring so much. Photosensitive epilepsy is actually a lot less common than you may think, even though that's the type they always display in movies and TV so don't worry about me. Get ready you fine piece of ass! We're going out!"

Walking hand in hand to the Cheesecake Factory, I looked over at Naila just admiring her features for the millionth time. She truly was a dime, and even though we aren't anything yet, I see her deep in my future already. I could see a smile tugging at the corners of her lips, and I would do anything to keep that grin on her face.
