Tossing and turning as she halfway slept, Naila's uncomfortability the entire night made it hard to stay deeply asleep. Her back felt tremendously heavy, with the overwhelming feeling of having to vomit plaguing her all night. Kaison couldn't help but notice how little sleep he could get as well due to the fact that the bed was constantly moving. The discomfort was becoming unbearable, and as soon as she raised up from her sleep she felt the overwhelming feeling of having to vomit overtake her. Running to the bathroom in her Seattle condo, she nearly threw her guts up into the toilet. Being back home did put her at ease, however, knowing that she wasn't ruining anyone else's property with her sickness.

Swiping her hand across her mouth once finished, Naila took a good look at the woman reflecting in the mirror in front of her. She couldn't help but be extremely bothered by what she saw, especially with her knowing there was no noticeable change in her diet recently. She got lost in her overthinking, not even noticing that her now fiancé was peeking his head through the bathroom door.

Granting him entrance, Kaison wrapped his arms around Naila's waist as he rested his heavy head on her shoulder. As the both of them looked in the mirror with Kaison showing and tired expression and Naila showing a sad one, Kai planted an endearing kiss on the soft and warm mound on Naila's face.

"What's wrong, baby?"

"I feel fat. And ugly. And disgusting. I don't know why ... it's been like this since Barbados."

"Well I'll have you know that A: you are none of those things and B: I personally think you look better than you ever have. I don't know if it's just the post-vacation glow or something else, but you're gorgeous. Do you feel sick?"

"Incredibly."

"Care to go to the doctor? Maybe they'll give you some answers about the uncomfortability and constant vomiting."

"Yeah, that'll work. This shit is just really bothering me," Naila said with an exasperated sigh. "I just hope I'm alright. We got a wedding to plan!"

Sitting down in the empty doctor's office, the smell of sterilization and wet paint was beginning to overwhelm Naila's senses. Maybe it was the anxiety in her building up but something was off about today, with everything being more potent and pronounced than it would be otherwise. She felt that familiar feeling in the deep pit of her stomach when she had to empty its contents out into a toilet, but for time's sake she held it in, with the feeling eventually disappearing. Kaison held tightly onto both of her hands the entire time, sensing her anxiety about the sudden doctor's appointment.
