"Here" Chris gave one if his mugs to Eddie, and he turned around to put it onto the bedside table.

"So what brings you to Seattle?" Chris questioned, pretending he was a news presenter and using his mug as a mic. Eddie leaned towards Chris's mug and spoke
They both looked at the wall in front of them, as if it were a camera.

"Well Chris, it's a long and somewhat pathetic tale, involving me and some girl I thought I used to love."
"I'm sure the audience would like to hear, wouldn't they?" Chris playfully said, both still looking at the wall in front of them. Eddie turned and looked at Chris, putting his fingers on the 'mic' and gently leaning it towards Chris.

He made eye contact with him for a while, until he suddenly broke his silence.
"Well, that wraps it up folks!" Eddie hastily said, laughing and diving into the bed.

"Careful! I just got thi-" before Chris could carry on, Eddie took his mug and put it onto the table. Chris dived next to Eddie. They were both lying on their back, staring at the wall.

Eddie turned his head and smiled.
"That was fun" he exhaled.
"Sure" Chris said, laughing.

"But really, why did you come to Seattle in such a rush? Not that I'm complaining of course, I think you're great"

Eddie curled into a ball, facing towards Chris, and as he was about to speak, Chris gently moved his hair across, away from Eddie's face. They both smiled.

"I was in a long-term abusive relationship with a girl called Brooke. I kinda got sick and tired of it after a few years. Therefore, I went into that house, packed my things and left. It was my dream to come here, y'know? I have this band called Pearl Jam, they said they might come up here in a few months after I've settled."

"I can't believe someone would treat you like that Eddie, you're so amazing. Besides, I wouldn't treat you like she did." Chris softly said, making Eddie smile from ear to ear. Eddie's cheeks went red, but Chris carried on.

"You have a band? Me too! Mine's called Soundgarden though. You should definitely meet them one day, they'll love you, not as much as I do though" He said. As he was about to carry on, he decided not to.

Instead, he leaned towards Eddie, and Eddie climbed on top of Chris.

After around 10 seconds, they broke their silence and looked at each other in the eyes.
Eddie rolled off of Chris, leaning over his chest. He felt so warm around Chris. He wish he knew and met him before-hand.

"I wish I met you before, a long time ago Chris." He softly spoke.
"Me too, Im happy I know you now though. What do you wanna do today anyway?" Chris asked.

Eddie looked up at Chris.

"Sleep?" Eddie chuckled.
"Sounds like a plan"
