After their show ended, Chris pulled Eddie aside after they left the stage and they walked down onto a beach.

They held hands, walking alongside the shore. It was dark outside, the stars were glimmering in the sky and the moonlight rippled against the ocean.

"That was fun" Eddie began.

"Sure was. I'm gonna miss it. Well, the whole process. At the beginning where we came up with the idea, we then wrote songs, filmed a music video.."

"And that time I got super excited when I found out that we were going on tour" Eddie chimed in.

Chris laughed, faintly leaning his head against Eddie's.

"I remember that"

"Stop"

"What?" Chris asked, looking concerned as he faced Eddie, still walking slowly in unison on the sand.

"Nothing, you're just making me feel old" he chuckled, grinning at Chris.

"And woah, how many drinks did you have tonight anyway?" Eddie asked, jokingly punching Chris's stomach, laughing.

"Hey! I only had a few but I can handle myself just fine"

Eddie sighed, it sounded like a laugh. "You sober?"

Chris hesitated.

"I'm moderately functional"

"I'll take that as a no"

"I'm just joking around, I'm fine though." Chris assured Eddie.

"Good, good"

It went quiet for a little, but wasn't awkward. They enjoyed each other's company, and it was one of Eddie's favourite places to be anyway; at the beach.

Chris abruptly stopped, making Eddie stop too. He looked at Chris in the light, glaring into his deep blue eyes.

"Everything okay?" He asked softly.

Chris didn't say anything. Instead, he reached into his pocket to pull something small out.

"What are you.. what?" Eddie said, his voice suddenly stopping as Chris went down onto his knee.

"Eddie, I love you. I love you more than anything in this world. That day I saw you sleeping on that sidewalk was the day that changed me, it changed my life. There's nobody else in this world I'd rather be with, Eddie." Chris confessed, his innocent eyes locked into Eddie's.

"So, will you marry me?"

"Chris.."

Eddie's mouth was in a 'o' shape, he didn't know what to say. He loved Chris with all his heart, but no words he could find that could slip off his tongue.

Instead, he pulled Chris into a kiss. It was Eddie's way of saying 'yes'. It was Eddie's way of saying 'I love you'.

They didn't break their kiss, they could feel their warm breath on each other in the cold as the ocean quietly swayed, waves overlapping waves. They didn't care though, as long as they were together, they didn't need to care.

"I hope this answers your question, Chris" he whispered in a low voice into the kiss.

Chris smiled, but they didn't stop, they didn't need to. They didn't want to.
