They were sat in the booth, near the back of the restaurant, it was frosty outside and the windows were covered in condensation and all you could see outside were the rough glimmers of the distant streetlights.

It was bright inside, it was busy too.

"Seattle's nice" Eddie said, looking up from the menu that was covering his head.
He put it down next to him, and Chris did the same.

"Yeah, I've lived here my whole life. To me, Seattle isn't that exciting anymore, what makes it exciting is the people who are here" Chris said, in conversation with Eddie

He slightly pointed at Ed
"Such as yourself" he said to him, smiling as usual.

"Is everyone here like you, Chris?"
"Not everyone, is that a good thing or a bad thing?" Chris asked, lightly laughing.

Eddie rolled his eyes and smiled.
"A good thing, it's great meeting people like you" he carried on
"But I guess there's more to Seattle that I need to discover"

Chris nodded and looked to the side, with his hands under his chin, and rested his head on them.

Without moving his head, he looked back at Eddie.

"Well, some people you gotta give time to get used to them I suppose."
Eddie responded
"How much?" He asked.

Chris gave him a playful smirk and laughed, waiting for Eddie to understand why he was laughing at him

Eddie rolled his eyes again and chuckled after a few seconds.

"I mean, how much time?" He asked again, still smirking

"Well, I guess we'll have to wait and see" Chris said

Shortly after, the waitress came by and asked for their orders. They were talking so much that they forgot to properly scan through the menu.

"I'll just have a Pepsi for now" Chris said to her. Then, they both turned to Eddie.

Chris could tell he looked lost, and sniggered at him. Eddie just gave him a sarcastic look.

"Ohh, uhmm"
"Come on" Chris mouthed to Eddie
"Water. Water will do" Eddie looked embarrassed, and turned away, waiting for her to leave.

"You sure do have a way with women" Chris said, laughing at Eddie.
"Shut up" Eddie chuckled, and playfully rolled his eyes - again.

Eddie looked around, and made sure the coast was clear from her. He then turned to Chris.

"She was totally checking you out back there" Eddie said, smirking.
"Nah, besides, not my type" Chris replied, simultaneously shaking his head.
