chapter 11

Jake's POV:

I immediately went home and thought about everything. I think it's time to end it with Alissa.. I've been thinking hard about this... I go off to find Alissa and approach her.

Jake: Hey... We should talk in private. Its important.
Alissa: Okay..

I walk up to my room, with her behind me and close the door as soon as we both enter.

Jake: Alissa...
Alissa: Yeah? What's up, Jake?!
Jake: I think we should break up... See other people.
Alissa: What why?
Jake: I don't feel the same towards you anymore... I'm sorry.

She looked at me, her face was full of anger and sadness.

Alissa: What the fuck Jake? It's because that hoe, Erika is back here.. That's why, isn't it? You still love her don't you? I've seen paparazzi photos of you guys together. Did you think I wasn't going to find out or what?
Jake: I never thought that.. Me and Erika were just hanging out as friends. Nothing happened!
Alissa: Sure... Whatever. That's what you said last time too.. Then you guys end up dating right after we broke up.
Jake: If I recall correctly, it was you that fucked up our relationship last time.
Alissa: Sure... Now that you broke up with me, I don't feel any guilt towards what I did. (she smirks slightly at Jake)
Jake: What the fuck did you do?
Alissa: Maybe you should ask your brother.
Jake: You cheated on me with Logan? Again? Are you fucking kidding me? I should have never given you another chance. Once a cheater, always a cheater I guess, right? It was wrong of me to forgive you and trust you again.
Alissa: (smiles at Jake) Hmm.. Guess so.. And... Its been going on for awhile.

I was hurt... Once again, just like last time. She did me wrong, and that is something I do not appreciate. I was infuriated. I had so much anger building up inside..

Jake: I was gonna let you stay here, but I don't wanna see your fucking face any longer. You have done this to me twice! With my brother! My fucking brother!! Get out of my fucking house, and you're fucking kicked off of team 10. You got 3 days to get your shit out of here. I don't want to see you.

Alissa looked at me and I just couldn't bare to look at her anymore. I immediately left and went off to Erika's house.. I've got to do something very important.

Erika's POV:

Tessa and I were eating dinner with Jax at the table. Jax was being the cutest kid ever, eating so messy and I don't know it's just so adorable to me. I cleaned him up a bit and then he continued to eat once again. I took a bite of my food and then Tessa asked me something.

Tessa: Are you done with Jake?
Erika: Yep. I love him, but he's got Alissa.
Tessa: So you're not gonna tell him about Jax?
Erika: I don't see the need to... I mean I know I should but I just don't want to anymore.

Just then we heard the doorbell ring. "I got it." I said as I got up and headed towards the door. I opened it up and saw Jake standing there. He looked into my eyes for a moment, and I looked into his. He grabbed my face once again, and this time... He actually kissed me. I kissed back for a moment then pulled away and looked at him.

Erika: Jake, what are you doing?
Jake: I'm still in love with you too, Erika. I've been wanting to kiss you for awhile now and I finally got the chance to.
Erika: But you're with Alissa... What are you doing? This is wrong.
Jake: No its not. I'm not with Alissa anymore. I broke up with her because I realized I needed you. Plus... Something else but... Yeah, don't wanna talk about it.

I looked at him and slightly smiled at how charming he was and how good he looked. I stood there for a moment until I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him once again, he wraps his arms around my waist and holds me close to him as we kiss. He pulls away then looks at me and speaks softly at me.

Jake: I've really missed you.
Erika: I've missed you too.

I kiss him one last time and then realize I can't be out here for awhile. I got Jax inside and he's probably gonna call for me soon, and I don't want Jake to find out about him... At least not yet. I step outside the house and tell Jake to go and that we'll talk tomorrow. He smiles at me and agrees as he walks to his car. I go back inside and close the door behind me. I lean back against the door and smile. It really does feel like high school again with Jake. I then snap out of it and go to the table and sit back down, not fading my smile away. Tessa notices and looks at me as she smiles too.

Tessa: Why so happy?
Erika: Cause I got Jake.
Tessa: What happened?
Erika: We kissed and it felt so magical. I enjoyed it very much and missed my lips against his.
Tessa: So... Wait, what about Alissa?
Erika: Its over between them.
Tessa: Oh okay.. Well don't get too excited... You still don't know how he'll take it when you tell him about Jax. And you're going to tell him, Rik!
Erika: Yeah, yeah... You're right.
