chapter 13

Jake's POV:

He ran to Erika, calling out "mommy!". I didn't know what to think or how to feel. I was so confused, I had so many emotions flowing. I look at Erika as she picks up the little boy.

Jake: Wait... Did he just call you mommy?
Erika: Yeah...
Jake: You have a kid?
Erika: Yes...

I look at the little boy then look at Erika. I look down at my phone where I saw all the pictures of which I was tagged in.

Jake: This is the little boy that people are saying looks like me... Right?
Erika: I guess so.

I looked at the little kid.. He did look exactly like me. He looked like a younger version of me.

Jake: How old is he?
Erika: He's 3 years old...

It was about 3 years ago that Erika and I had seen eachother.. Could he be my son? I didn't know how to take it.. I didn't know what to do. I was having such a great time now that Erika was back and then I just get this.

Jake: He's my son isn't he...?
Erika: Yes he is..

I looked at Erika and then at the little boy.

Jake: I️... I gotta go...

I look at Tony and grab him.

Jake: Let's go Tony.

He follows me to my car and gets in. I drive up to the hollywood sign and park. I get on top of hood of my car and minutes later.. Tony does the same.

Anthony: Bro...
Jake: Yeah?
Anthony: How you feeling?
Jake: I don't know how to feel...
Anthony: Well.. What are you going to do?
Jake: I also don't know.
Anthony: Erika has raised this kid alone for 3 years.. You can't just leave her to raise him alone for the rest of his years. Erika has no job or anything. You're one the most successful people for your age, you can help her.
Jake: I know.. But Tony, I have a fucking son... What the fuck...
Anthony: You got a blessing bro.

I looked at him. He's right.. A child is a blessing. And I can't just leave Erika to raise him by himself. He's already had 3 years without me, and I don't want him to live like that. I want him to have both of his parents around. I need to help out Erika, she has no job or much money.. I can give them both whatever they need.

Erika's POV:

He just left like nothing happened.. Like he wasn't coming back.. I look down at Jax as I hold him in my arms as he starts to fall asleep and kiss him on his forehead. I sit down on the couch and Tessa sits beside me.

Erika: What if he doesn't come back?
Tessa: Well then he was never meant to be for you, but don't think like that because he is going to come back.
Erika: Maybe this will just ruin his career, that's why he left. This is exactly what I was afraid of. This is why I didn't want to tell him. We're just going to ruin his career.
Tessa: No you're not, don't say that. And he's gonna come back, Rik. Jake is a good guy.
Erika: Yeah... I guess.

I got up and went to go put Jax on his bed since he fell asleep in my arms. I then go back to Tessa and sit back down beside her. Tessa wraps her arms around me and gives me a small hug.

Tessa: He's gonna come back. Jake is not just gonna leave you like this. He's a way better person than that.
Erika: I hope you're right..

I rested my head on her shoulder and just looked ahead of me as I tried not to think of the worst possible things that could happen in this situation.

HEY GUYS IM SORRY ITS NOT LONG IM JUST TRYING TO UPDATE FOR YOU GUYS! I'm busy and I'm also very sick at the moment, I've been sick for like a couple days now and I feel like crap but I wanted to give you guys at least a small update since so many of you guys were asking for it so I tried to write a little something today. But ily guys so much!!!
