Filming finishes this week for the holidays and I am ready to go home but before that I will be spending a week in San Diego before I go home to London for Christmas which is exciting as it means I get to spend a lot more time with Scott. We wrap filming and I have now been in San Diego for a week now. Tonight we are having a date night heading out for dinner and then maybe meeting up with some friends. While I'm getting ready I decide to do a little instagram live. Scott is currently finding something to wear "Hi everyone so this is a little get ready with me. We're heading out tonight for a little date night so I'm gonna talk you through my make up routine which is pretty basic unless it's for press or an event. I'm obsessed with the Fenty Beauty foundation and their highlighters and the stunna lip paint are incredible. I was sent this in a press package and I've just gotten the galaxy line which I'm looking forward to trying I think it will be perfect for the festive season. I'm varying in shades right now because I have a tan right now from being here but I'll probably go back to the 110 but I'm currently the 130 right now" I say and I use the primer first and then apply the foundation and blend with the Fenty Beauty foundation brush "Next up concealer which is the NARS radiant creamy concealer in the shade creme bruelee but I'm usually vanilla. This is just going under my eyes. I don't contour usually for a non work related look so next up is highlighter which is the Fenty Beauty highlighter duo and I use a combination of girl next door and chic phreak with the highlighter brush. I'm not gonna put anything on my eyes I'm just gonna do some liquid liner which is the KatVonD tattoo liquid liner which is one of my go to beauty products. I have a question for you guys mainly anyone in a relationship but this is something Scott said to me earlier when I was picking my outfit for tonight which I'll show you later. He said he feels he has to dress up more than he usually would because of me and how I dress particularly when we're going out. I'm fine with whatever he wears but he insists on doing it so I don't argue with him but does your boyfriend or significant other do this" I say as I apply my eyeliner "Mascara is the too faced better than sex mascara one of my go tos I also love the benefit roller lash mascara so I alternate between the two. Finally lips which is colour pop which is my current obsession I do still love the Estee Lauder X Victoria Beckham lipstick but I'm loving matte lips right now so I've been using alot of colour pop and this is the shade fragile things which is a deep nude pink I wear this during the day sometimes or Lil pump which is a lighter shade and that is that my make up routine and I will show you my outfit in a bit in a instagram story" I say and end the video and go to get dressed "I saw some comments asking if we'd do a relationship q&a what do you think" I say "If you wanna do it we can maybe when we're in New York" he says "Sounds good" I say. Before we leave I post my outfit on my story "I am wearing a warehouse jumpsuit it's got a cropped leg with my louboutin heels, a shein.com coat which I love it's not too heavy so perfect for California and my Cartier love bracelet my parents gave me for my birthday" I say.

We are in New York for a few days before I head home to London so we're also Christmas shopping which I'm doing whilst Scott is working "A little outfit of the day I'm wearing a River Island faux leather mini skirt, a uniqlo jumper which is cropped and this really beautiful burnt orange colour, grey tights, a Vince coat, my Manoki baker boy hat which is my new go to hat for fall/winter and miss selfridges ankle boots with my Cartier love bracelet" I say and we head out. I finish up my Christmas shopping and then I meet up with Scott who's also done some shopping and we grab some food before heading back to our hotel. We decide to film our relationship q&a and I set up one of my laptop camera and we go live on Facebook "Hi everyone today we're doing a relationship q&a and I've screenshotted some questions from Twitter and we might answer some from the comments on this. I'm sure you know my boyfriend Scott already" I say "Hey guys" he says "We're currently in New York until tomorrow and I am flying home and Scott is heading back to San Diego. Let's get into the questions how did you meet" I say "In a club in LA she bumped into me and I wanted to buy her a drink but she turned me down and said we should let fate decide if we should meet again" he says "Which we did here in New York over two months ago now. What was your first date?" I say "New York day we met again at Comic-Con a simple dinner" he says "We're pretty low key date wise mostly bars or restaurants sometimes the beach or hiking or something outdoorsy. First impressions of each other. I didn't want to get involved with Scott at first because of my past but first impression was that he was handsome and genuine which can be a rarity in this world. Your turn" I say "I loved the accent and she's beautiful of course her eyes got me though she has really beautiful green eyes" he says "Sweet. Are you spending the holidays together. No I'm gonna be in Edinburgh Christmas Day with my family but we are spending New Year's together and exchanging gifts before we leave tomorrow" I say "She's worried I can't top her birthday present which was a trip to Fiji but I think I have" he says "We'll see. What are your plans for the New Year. We wanna travel more we have a couple of places in mind Australia, South Africa, Thailand maybe. This will probably be spread out throughout the year because of work commitments but I think we're gonna take a trip after New Year's Day before I go back for the last two months of filming in mid January because we have a short first season of Slayer and fingers crossed we get renewed for season two" I say "You'll also be coming with me for some of the Pacific Rim press tour. We wanna tick some things off our bucket lists some of which we've already made plans for. I'm gonna help Violet get her pilot's licence being one" he says "We've had a few lessons already that have went really good. I also want Scott to come to Edinburgh because it's amazing and I'll know he'll love it there. I'm excited to go there for Christmas because of the snow is hope it's snowing still even though I hate driving in it but we're flying there I think and probably won't have to drive too much" I say "Definitely gonna do that" he says "What's one quality the other has that makes you better as a person?. Scott has quite a laidback chilled attitude as well as being extremely hard working and I've always been very focused and goal oriented but Scott has helped me be more laidback and relaxed about things and spending a lot of time in San Diego which is so beautiful and calming has been amazing and Scott's the reason I get to spend so much time there and feel free. I think part of that is also because I had been holding in all that anger and shame of my sexual assault that I never felt like I was happy or free and telling people what happened took that weight away" I say "Gonna sound incredibly cheesy but Violet's strength she doesn't take crap from anyone and she's passionate about so many great things. I wish I was half as vocal as she is" he says "I just saw one in the comments I think we should answer. Any Christmas traditions you both have that you've shared or hope to share in the future. Christmas is my favourite time of year and I have rituals of watching Christmas movies which I've forced Scott to do whenever I've been here. The main tradition in my family is spending time in Edinburgh with my grandparents we always go there for Christmas and my mum and grandmother cook Christmas dinner which I think me and my mum are doing this year. We're one of those families that go a little extra so I'm not sure how Scott is gonna cope with that" I say "We don't really have any traditions but I think you can always make your own" he says "Definitely thank you for your questions and Happy Christmas from us" I say and end the video.
