I'm in LA for the day as I have some meetings to go to and I'm accompanying Scott on a press day at access at least "The beard is growing on me I thought it would go after Edinburgh but I like it" I say "I've have this beard since we met and it's only now growing on you four months later" he says "Pretty much" I say and I give him a quick kiss on the lips "What about my hair is that growing on you" he says "Speaking as someone who has just grown her hair back to the way she likes it I have no problem with your hair" I say "I have no problem with yours either" he says. They talk about Pacific Rim and Scott's love of Australia "We can't not talk about your amazingly talented and stunning girlfriend Violet who is standing over there. You've recently announced your moving in together into a new house and got a dog big steps in the relationship" Natalie says "She's all those things and more. We were discussing Violet moving here to California to my place in San Diego but I wanted us to have somewhere that was ours so I started looking at places and with some help from her mom found the perfect place it's gonna be a few months til we move but we're both very excited about it. The puppy was a delayed Christmas present along with her other present" he says "Your going to be travelling together on this press tour making up for time spent apart while Violet has been filming her now hit new show in Vancouver" Kit asks "In a way yes we've seen alot of each other while she's been away and we've just spent a week in the UK together and we're rarely out of communication with each other when we're away somewhere but I'm looking forward to having her on the road with me" he says "Has she gotten the Clint Eastwood seal of approval yet?" she asks "We had a dinner with my dad last night and she kept him on his toes they had a lot to talk about and alot in common and I think she'd be apart of my life regardless of what my dad thought" he says "One last question about you two any chance of you working together in the future" Natalie says "We don't want to become one of those couples who work together all the time but if the right project comes up we'd definitely take it. Our careers are completely separate Violet is working on an amazing show and wants to get back to her roots in theatre and I want to eventually get into directing producing but we won't rule it out" he says and then they bring up Scott's time spent doing karaoke with John "What is Violet's go to karaoke song?" she asks "Violet is more old school which I love about her she has an old soul and her dad raised her to appreciate good music but she goes old school rock and roll with Guns and Roses or Meatloaf don't wanna miss a thing" he says and they discuss the topic some more before the end of the interview.

Today we're attending a charity fundraiser surf contest we're also bringing the dogs which may be a terrible idea but we'd rather not leave them both at home. I go on Instagram as we're driving there as today is also the women's March in LA and I can't make it unfortunately "Hi everyone today is the women's march in LA and I wish I could be there but we're attending an amazing fundraiser for an amazingly brave girl named Kira who's recently been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour that she has to travel across the world to treat and we wanted to show our support for her. Know that I'm there in spirit with all those women and men marching today who know it's not okay to disrespect women in the ways many have. I come from a family where the men have complete respect for the women in their lives and I'm in a relationship with someone who respects and support me in everything I do. Times Up for the men who've forgotten what respect is and how to treat women right" I say and end the video.
We've been having an amazing time at the fundraiser so far as are the dogs and we've met some incredible people and we're just about to talk to Kira and her parents "I work with Stand up to Cancer here and back home and when I got in touch with them about today they wanted to help you out by donating $10,000 towards the cost of your treatment and their gonna do whatever they can to keep donations coming in and raising awareness of your condition and others like you" I say "Thank you" says her mom and we hug. We stick around for awhile longer before we start the drive home. I have a call to take on the way home for events I'm planning in the next few months including stuff for Scott's birthday as we hope to be in the house by then but I set up a meeting to discuss those plans. I'm also planning a surprise trip for me and my mum next month once I'm back "How goes the trip planning?" Scott asks "Good everything is pretty much organised just have to get her to the airport which my dad will handle once I give him all the details. We haven't had a trip away just me and her in a long time so I can't wait" I say "You deserve it you've been working really hard these last few months" he says "I'm not done yet I have the play in April and then going back to film Slayer potentially in the summer again" I say "The life of a hard working actress in Hollywood" he says.
