It's Comic-Con weekend and I have been cleared to go and have a appointment scheduled with our old obgyn to see the baby as my parents have actually flown out for the weekend and haven't seen the baby moving and her heart beat in the flesh yet so their gonna come with me and Jack my brother will be coming with me to Comic-Con for all my interviews and panels. Scott is also with us but spending some time with friends and family which we'll meet up with later.
Friday is a chilled day as we're not at Comic-Con until tomorrow but I am doing a women who kick ass panel today but we have my ultrasound first and then I spend a little time with the cast getting prepped for tomorrow's interviews. It's the next day and I'm getting ready and I am wearing heels but their incredibly uncomfortable so we switch to converse "I can't Em" I say "The outfit works with converse which is why we went for a casual look that accentuates the bump" she says and I smooth the dress over the bump "She kicked this morning at like five am like she was telling me mom I'm awake get up feed me. I also needed to pee so she has good timing and I wouldn't of wanted Scott to miss her kicking for the first time" I say "That's so cute" she says.
We have interviews with entertainment tonight, extra, mtv and some roundtable interviews before our panel. After our panel we have a interview with tvline done by Andy swift "Welcome to Comic-Con not your first comic book convention but your first San Diego Comic-Con" he says "We were very excited to come here because it's a way for us to meet fans of the original series who are now fans of our show. It's also crazy overwhelming" I say "Absolutely congrats on your little Slayer in the making how has your Comic-Con experience been as a pregnant lady" he says "Not gonna lie feel like I could fall asleep right now but people have been great everyone makes sure I'm comfortable and don't have to stand for too long. I had to leave our panel multiple times to pee which I forewarned people about. She was actually kicking quite a bit during the panel which she's just started doing this morning so that was amazing. Love your tshirt by the way someone actually gave me a sunny dale babygrow today and another one that says my mommy slays demons for a living which is cool and adorable" I say "Thank you. When you found out Violet was pregnant was there ever any talk about writing it into the show" he asks "When Violet called and told us we discussed it but ultimately it wasn't the way we wanted to see the show go right now, but the way she's been temporarily written out works really well and it was a joint decision between us and Violet and makes room for the new characters we are introducing including this handsome guy next to me" Henry says "Welcome to the cast Daniel how was it joining the cast and what can you tease about your character" he says "Thank you. Everyone is very welcoming and it's a very fun atmosphere in work in. My character kinda appears when Violet's disappears and he's sorta there to help them figure out where Natalie has gone and how to get her back for his own slightly selfish reasons" he says "One of my last scenes is with Daniel which I think was teased in the trailer we just released and there's gonna be alot more scenes of us together when I'm back. They have quite a unique relationship" I say "Violet what's the one thing you've missed about being on set and what are you looking forward to when you come back" he says "Apart from missing our incredible cast and crew I miss the stunts like I loved that aspect of shooting season one despite the injuries. I've done no stunts in season two myself at all and my double did an incredible job but I'm looking forward to getting back to that" I say "What are your thoughts on a Slayer mom because that's something we sorta seen in the original with d.b woodside's character who's mom was a slayer" he says "I think it would be interesting to see how Natalie would balance that and we have discussed the possibility of it happening should the show continue beyond this season. We all know what a great mom Violet will be so to see her bring that to the screen would be great" Henry our writer says "What can we tease about the relationships this season because obviously Oliver's character pretty much died last season and was left trapped in some alternate dimension" he says "I can say he's back in the real world this season possibly something to do with Violet's departure and there's some tension between him and Daniel when he shows up" Oliver says "It's not necessarily gonna be a love triangle but Natalie comes back and she's been through something and Daniel's character is the only one who understands" Henry says "We've been very vague today in all our interviews because there's so little we can say which is the case for alot of shows here" I say "Who's the cast here you were looking forward to bumping into or perhaps crossing over with?" he asks "We shoot in Vancouver with all the big DC shows and we've never met any of them because of different shooting schedules but we bumped into the flash cast which was cool and some of the riverdale cast we hung out with. My brother and I are friends with Callum Turner from the new fantastic beasts movie so we saw him" I say "In terms of crossover potential we have said supernatural would make alot of sense we have demon hunting brothers and our Slayer which would be a pretty bad ass team up. Midnight Texas is another one a little road trip deal with some ghosts and a non evil vampire and angels" Henry says. There's a few more questions for everyone "One final question. Violet you've done a lot of horror films before Slayer is that a genre you'll return to?" he asks "I've done alot of indie horror and I love all of that. I've been approached to do the rom-com movies before and their not really me if I were to do something like that it would have to be a romantic drama. So definitely I've got a few things in the works at the minute for late next year but I plan to do more theatre over the next few years but I love the horror genre it's what I fell into when I started acting and I think it's a nice contrast between Scott and I work wise. There's few films of mine I can show our daughter and the same for Scott so it's a way of keeping her away from that side of our lives" I say "Thank you for chatting with me good luck with the show and the baby" he says and we all say thank you back.
