Today is a busy day we're doing a lot of work on the nursery and I'm filming a baby haul and finishing and posting my birth plan blog post also Scott is on Bear Grylls Running Wild tonight so we're gonna watch that "Hey everyone I just thought I'd post a little Instagram story so I could run you through my outfit and also give you a little sneak peek at the nursery. Outfit first all top and jeans are asos maternity and these loafers are H&M which I've had for awhile but didn't fit properly but now that my feet are slightly swollen they do. I have my claddagh ring on and also my Cartier love bracelet (know their not pictured but this is an old outfit I created on polyvore awhile ago and it's gone now so I can't create any new outfits) hair is a messy ponytail and make up is pretty basic, primer,foundation, a little concealer under the eyes, brows, setting powder and some lip balm. Only reason I'm dressed in something other than pajamas and have make up on is because I'm filming a little baby haul today that will go up on Instagram tv because it was easier that way then doing a blog post. Now to give a little peek at the nursery which we're painting at the moment a friend of mine who's an amazing artist is doing us a mural of sorts but we've painted all the walls and Scott's friend is making us this incredibly beautiful rocking chair and we'll build the furniture once the room is painted and done" I say and pick up Logan on the way to the nursery "One thing I haven't addressed in any of my pregnancy blogs is how protective Logan and Fred have become of me since I've been pregnant like they never leave my side pretty much, Fred has always been quite clingy I guess with Scott which is sweet and you would of seen that in Scott's instagram stories but they lay on my belly, they can't sleep outside our bedroom they have to be in the room by my side of the bed or if we do manage to get them to sleep outside our room their outside the bedroom door when we get up every morning like guarding us" I say and we enter the nursery where my friend Max is painting "As you can tell we've gone for a woodland floral theme but one thing I wanted because apart from beauty and the beast the little mermaid is one of my favourite Disney movies so you're painting a quote on the wall above where her cot will be which is something I live by and the quote is "Who says that my dreams have to stay just my dreams which is something I live by and want our little flower to live by no dream is too big or too small. That's all you get but I will do a full reveal when everything is finished" I say and end the story "Has anyone guessed the name yet" Max asks "No and hopefully it will stay that way" I say "It's a really pretty name is that gonna be a trend with your baby names" he says "Not sure that would work with a boy but maybe" I say.
I am setting up for the baby haul video and once that's done I start "Hi everyone if you saw my Instagram story earlier today you'd know I am filming a baby haul. I decided against a baby shower because of the move and my mum is coming over before the baby comes and having her travel here just didn't make sense but she's sent me things she's bought so I'll show you those and friends have sent me things as well and we just decided to buy alot of the stuff ourselves because we knew what we wanted and didn't want to have to return stuff we didn't like so that's why I'm doing this now instead of after a baby shower. First off I've bought a ton of aden and annais swaddle cloths and muslins because you can never have enough muslins and swaddle cloths and I've seen alot of people use these and recommend them I bought the winnie the pooh ones which are adorable and princess posie, jungle jam, baby cakes, star bright, super stars, the bambi ones and a ton more" I say and show them.
"Next up are bibs which are pretty basic ones I got from goobiebaby.com and my mum sent over some cute ones I saw online on cath kidston and also some ones from mamas and papas which I ordered ages ago because they don't ship here so I got these when I was home doing the play and just some basic plain ones I bought in baby stores in San Diego and other stores in London" I say and show them some of the bibs as Scott walks in "Here to help?" I ask "Have you shown them the baby grow I bought" he says "Not yet" I say looking for it before finding it and showing them "This is Scott's favourite thing because he bought it. I also got them a matching set a tshirt that says daddy bear and a babygrow with baby's name on it as in blank bear because we're not telling the name until she's here. I also have one like this and my friend Emma bought us this one which says me and daddy agree mommy is the boss which is true" I say.
"She's always been the boss" he says "Wanna stay for the rest of the video?" I ask "No I'm gonna go help Max" he says "Okay" I say and we kiss "So I mentioned my mum got us somethings I can't show you the main thing which is my favourite which is from my 1st years because it's all personalised for the little flower and I love everything so much and I can't wait to her more stuff when she's older and has a little brother or sister so they can match. But my parents and Scott's mum got us some really cute things alot of the stuff my mum bought is from Zara and H&M because they have adorable baby clothes and I bought alot of stuff from there also baby grows, vests etc because we're living in Texas now where it's crazy hot all year round alot of the stuff is short sleeves, I bought a lot of dresses, rompers, shorts, little tshirts etc. My mum has other stuff she hasn't sent yet for when we're in the UK with baby as we plan to be over there close to Christmas again this year. My mum is coming to stay in October until the baby is here and my dad and grandparents and my brother come over about a week before my due date and will stay awhile and Scott's mum will be here then too and stay for awhile after my parents go back home. I've discussed this in my birth plan blog post anyway" I say. I go through some other items and then show them the stroller and car seat "And that is it you'll see the cot and all that stuff when the nursery is done. Thanks for watching" I say and end the video.
Scott and I are now watching his episode of running wild and I am in comfy clothes now "We're goggleboxing right now. All my British fans will know what I'm talking about. For those we don't it's a show in the UK where people watch television programmes and react to them like people do at home. I have to say you swear quite a bit in the first five minutes" I say "I apologise for that" he says and we keep watching "This was shot before I was pregnant or after you knew" I say "Before I think but I called you and told you I was doing it and you were like don't die" he says "Yeah because we were building a life together and I'd rather you didn't die. But I've never actually seen you this scared before" I say "That's true" he says as we're watching. Once it's over I'm exhausted so we head to bed.
