I have officially moved to San Diego and temporarily as we're still working out details for our new place so I'm living with Scott. My mum and I are going on our trip next week after Valentine's Day and I am finishing up some last minute work bits. I have some photoshoots today for some exciting things and also some meetings and Scott and I will be going to his dad's premiere later on tonight. We're also heading to New York for a few days for fashion week which I'm excited about. I've also been under the weather again with a cold but I'm well enough for the premiere. I have an amazing make up team who make me look alot better then I actually feel and then Emma and I sort my outfit. We arrive at the premiere and walk the red carpet and pose for pictures with Scott's dad and whilst their doing some more family photos I do some interviews "Violet always a pleasure seeing you. Welcome to California as I know you've recently made the move how are you finding it so far" he says "I've spent a lot of time here over the last few months so I am used to being here and you can't beat the weather compared to rainy old London" I say "Your here supporting Scott's father is it intimidating being in his presence" he says "Sometimes first time we met I was incredibly nervous but he puts you at ease very quickly something Scott also does and I'm glad I can be apart of this. Scott and I are very family orientated and both our families have been very welcoming to us both and this is an incredible story to tell about the bravery of three men who risked their lives to save many lives" I say "Your going to be returning to your theatre roots in the coming months anything you can tell us about that" he says "It's a play a friend of mine wrote that I'm starring in alongside one of my closest friends Luke Treadaway and is a love story with a twist is all I can really say. I'm excited to get back to theatre because I've been in front of a camera for three years now with very little breaks in between and I think being back on stage is exactly what I need right now" I say "We're all excited to see what you do next thanks for talking with us" he says. The movie is incredible and we have dinner afterwards before we head home.
It's been two days now and I've gradually gotten sicker unfortunately a cold has turned into a virus which my immune system hasn't been able to fight off so I'm on antibiotics and steroids and on bed rest as my immune system is vulnerable to further infection so I can't leave the house so Scott is going to New York solo "I don't like leaving you whilst your this sick" he says "My mum is flying out she'll be here by tomorrow the doctor is coming by to run some more tests tomorrow and I'll keep you updated on everything I promise. One of us should be there" I say "I love you and I'll call you when I land" he says "Love you too" I say.

After a few days I'm starting to feel more like myself and I've been able to get outside for a little bit even though my body feels like it's been hit by a truck. Scott will be back soon and my mum is still here with me. I decide to update my followers with a short instagram live "I apologise for my disappearance and my absence on social media the last week or so I have been ill. What started as a cold turned into a virus that my immune system wasn't strong enough to fight off because of a low white blood cell count. I've felt pretty bad the last few days sleeping alot, not really eating feeling hot one second and cold the next. I am now on the road to recovery and exciting things are happening which I planned to announce next week but I'm away for the next two weeks after Wednesday provided I'm better so we're gonna announce it now. I love engaging with all of you and sharing parts of my life and the videos I've done have been things you've wanted to see and I'd like to continue that. I will be officially launching my own website which will feature blog posts from me about my life, my plans for the next few months and wardrobe diaries and beauty must haves. The first post will be an introduction followed by an outfit diary from my trip and then the Pacific Rim press tour and that journey and also once we move in a full rundown of our new house. It's launching next Friday so I'll leave a link in my bio and maybe give you a little sneak peek in the coming days of the layout. This year I wanna get back to my roots which I'm doing with going back to theatre and this website also getting back into music and dance so I hope you'll follow me on this journey" I say and end the video. That night Scott facetimes me to see how I'm doing and I am in bed with the dogs asleep on the floor "Your definitely looking better" he says "I feel better I actually managed to leave the house for a short walk got the dogs some fresh air" I say "I miss you" he says "Me too your mum called to check on me which was sweet and Franscesca came by" I say "She mentioned it and I mentioned you being unwell to my mom" he says "I got an update on the house renovations will be done by next week and the furniture is arriving the week after" I say "So we can be moved in by the end of the month" he says "If you can do all the packing on your own I'm away for the next two weeks remember" I say "With a little help I'm sure I can" he says "We'll work it out" I say "I will see you in a few days" he says "Can't wait love you" I say "Love you too" he says.
