She's here with me,
I love her,
Oh so very much.
She's beautiful,
She's elegant,
She's oh so lovable.
But so is he,
He whom she saw,
He whom she loved.
As am I,
Not me but I,
The other one.
There are two?
As there always have been.
One who angers,
One who depresses,
Both are the same.
She doesn't know,
He doesn't know,
I have always known.
He scares me,
Not I, but him,
I fear to lose her.
I'm afraid and terrified,
Horrified and petrified,
Fearful and woeful.
I'm sad,
I'm depressed,
I'm going to lose her.
Or will I?
I'm not one to lose,
Not when I want to win.
I only lose when I choose to.
